About
The Ralli Museum of Marbella exhibits a great collection of contemporary Latin American and European art. The genres of Surrealism and magical realism are particularly well-represented in the Collection. Both movements make up the backbone of the Collection, providing the basis for other currents and artists that complement the contemporary Latin American and European artistic panorama. FREE ENTRANCE. Open 10-15 h. from Tuesday--Saturday

A gem of an art museum, that we found on the internet just looking for places to walk to in Marbella. The most famous part of the collection are surrealists, but the Latin American collection downstairs was an equally interesting experience, or even more so! I think I’ll come again, next time I get here!
The museum is just some 50 m off the road by the beach between puerto banus and puente romano. By the beach there is no sign indicating the location, so google maps was needed.

This is a hidden gem in Marbella with an amazing selection of artists both from Spain and South America. Both paintings and scultures. Look at their web page and you wil know why you should go there. We have been there many times as it is never boring and so much to explore.

Small museum, one of the five museums created by the late Mr. Recanati,
(another one is in Punta des Este Uruguay, two in Cesare Israel, one in Santiago Chile)
this is the second one we see. It is free entrance. Lots of space. All the time you need to contemplate all the ratings and statues. The lady at the entrance is extremely nice, smiling, helpful, a warm welcome. Exhibits some painters of various parts of the world, some unknown to me . . . but beautiful pieces of art. Statues by Salvador Dali

One of the few cultural treasures you can find in Marbella. This museo holds paintings and sculptures of some of the most interesting artists from Latinamerica. An unexpected jewel!
Have been there right the day before lock-down and would love to go back.

This small but wonderful museum is worth the trouble to take a trip even if you are in Marbella only for a day or two. A very good collection of Miro, Picasso, Dali etc. It's not crowded and you can take all the time you need to see the paintings and the small sculptures. Don't miss it.
The entrance is free.

The building itself is lovely as well as the location. Not too much, so that one feels one has covered everything. i.e. one is not frustrated after the visit. Wonderful art. Interesting.

really enjoyed my visit here. A free activity and it has a great selection of art pieces in a beautiful building just a minute from the beach too. Could have spent a good hour or two there. Only thing I would say is to keep in mind the opening times.

You must go and see this beautiful art gallery, peaceful and tranquil in a fabulous space. This is a collection where you can spend hours of quiet contemplation admiring the best that S. American art can offer. Add to this some stunning Salvador Dali sculptures and the and the gallery deserves to be far more highly rated than 24th of the attractions in Marbella. A cultural gem not to be missed

If you have any feeling for art at all it is a must to go see
Attached to a block housing offices and a hotel block the building looks innocuous until you enter and you find the most tranquil and modern exhibition space.
There is something for everyone.
The museum features 10 spacious showrooms where you will discover a large collection of works by contemporary artists from almost all Latin American countries.
They exhibition has some wonderful surrealist and abstract pieces and some wonderful sculptures including works by the Spanish artist Salvador Dali,
There are also exhibits by Picasso along with some lovely works by Miro
There are a wide range of south american artist I have never have heard of but will want to find out more about as their works are stunning.
The Mexican artists whose full-size bronze sculptures are really impressive and so tactile
The experience is uninhibited and there are no restrictions as to how close you can get to the works.
Having visited Ralli Marbella only makes me want to go and visit the rest of the Ralli museums
You have to wonder at the altruistic benevolence if the founder Harry Recanati he must have been a wonderful person.
