Took the bus from San Pedro to Marbella for a birthday treat. Bus really cheap at 1.22 euros each. Nothing like the buses in England. We thought they were for coach trips. Tidy and air conditioned, just remember to get off by the back door! We went to look at the Dali statues along with a few other sights and... More

Stroll past a dozen or more Dali statues depicting monsters or heroes associated with the sea in typical Dali like strangeness. A park at the top features a fountain that keeps the air cool, and parking beneath the walkway is ideal for centrally located strolling.

Nice clean, tidy area, ample parking below. Not pestered by hawkers, sit, relax. Then wonder down 50 mters to Da Fabios Italian restaurant for a coffee or a great meal sitting on Marbella beach front, the best Italian restaurant in Marbella. At Da Fabios you are always welcomed with a genuine smile, excellent service with great food, its my wifes... More

Avenue between old area & beach / port area. Car parking with illuminated free vehicle bays underneath, with clean toilets, so easy to use. Super popular water fountain just a few paces north.

If you like Dali, it's one of the few free places you can see loads of his fabulous work in one place. A line of statues in a wide modern square joins the main road to the sea front. It is lined with shaded seating beside clean ponds and fountains and there is plenty of room to walk around the... More

This a lovely area to sit and people watch with a coffee, have a drink or inspect the art pieces from Salvador Dali. The area is busy high season and is the main thoroughfare from the beach to orange square in a straight line (after crossing the road which is through the gardens at the top). Or visit one of... The area is very peaceful and spacious but I wouldn't consider it a major attraction as it was just large sculptures. However, I advise that you walk towards the sea and take a look at the little shops. There's restaurants, ice-cream parlours, clothing shops ad more near the port.

We wanted to walk in the old city for a bit, and drove from Puerto Banus to Marbella. A bit worried about parking in Marbella, people told us that parking beneath Avenida del Mar was a good idea. And it sure was. About 2€ an hour, easy access to the old town. Surprised to see the nice Salvador Dali sculptures... More

We spent at least an hour admiring these fantastic sculptures. Lots of photos taken and just admired this art work. If you do not like Dali, you should just take a walk past them and enjoy the scenery! Highly recommend😀
