We played a round here whilst on golf tour. All in all a pretty good track- condition could have been better and it felt a bit fuddled. It had some good holes, but also some very average ones too. The clubhouse is good and the staff helpful. Another Spanish course that is feeling just a bit dated unfortunately.

Firstly, the booking system does not cater for odd numbers and when you check-in you get totally ripped off for the buggies. 36 each yes 36 and they demanded the full 36 for the third player, disgusting. Secondly, both the 4th and 6th holes have been curtailed and played on temporary greens. Thirdky no marshalling and groups were allowed to... More

Dear Mr. Harvey, Thank you for your comments regarding Santa Clara in Tripadvisor. I would like to clarify part of your comments which are not very precise. Firstly. The online offer between 09:00 and 15:00 refers to "Two green fees with buggy". If you are three players you can book with buggy the Early Bird online offer or the Twilight... More

I have reviewed this course before and at that time my experience was not good. However I chose to give the course a second chance. And I am really happy for my decision. This time the course was in excellent condition. Tees, fairways, greens - no complains at all. Layout is also great with some spectacular holes. Beautiful views. Great... More

This is lovely golf course with great facilities. The complex draws you in well stocked if expensive Pro shop. Great driving range on the grass replicating being on the fairways. Starter polite and officious. First and tenth tees are adjacent which causes delays in teeing off. The day we played it was very busy over five hours for a round... More

Lovely golf course with a fantastic clubhouse and shop. Despite all the rain we had the course remained playable and greens dry and fast. A range of individual holes to suit all. Great food and service back in the clubhouse. Really enjoyed my two rounds

Firstly can I thank the waitress who served us breakfast and lunch on 2nd May for the fantastic friendly service. We all really enjoyed the welcome and the atmosphere in the clubhouse and on the terrace. The course is nice but has one or two holes that definitely need some local knowledge to fully enjoy. The greens were good but... More

I've played Santa Clara before and it's a good course and easy to get to. The course is well kept and it proves a test for golfers of most abilities but perhaps not for beginners. The organisation is good with easy check-in at the pro-shop and a starter to keep things going. You will find that some of the holes... More

The course cab be found just off the main coast road and directly behind a hospital which is a useful landmark. Although I found the course easily I did think the signage could be improved especially as the adjacent course was very well signposted. Course is great, challenging but not too hard. Spanish starter was really friendly and helpful. Club... More

Overall I found this an enjoyable course in good condition, challenging at times but with fairways that offered a high handicapper a chance to get a decent drive away, and some attractive and well designed holes. Unfortunately we were instructed to start at Hole 10 - the hardest and one of the longest on the course which gave us a... More

The quality of the course is brilliant. Fairways, tee boxes and rough all manicured and setup for a great round of golf. The greens are true but were slower than expected. The round was ruined as the general play was extremely slow, with four individual groups on one hole at several points. Marshals were constantly zipping around on carts but... More
