Ok so maybe I have American expectations but I was disappointed in the whole experience. Purchased tickets online and that went ok but wasnt certain if or how to use electronic ticket at game. Didnt have access to printer. Used a screenshot of ticket and it worked fine at the entrance.
There are limited entrances to stadium area so it was packed. You cant walk around the stadium so when we discovered that East side had the odd numbered gates and West side had even, we had to walk all the way around to get to our gate.
There is limited information on line about what you can bring into game. Purses, backpacks, food, plastic bottles are all ok. I think they sell food somewhere in the stadium but didnt seek it out.
Seats were standard for a stadium and people were generally respectful.

Be careful when going on this tour. The times on the website are wrong. We arrived in time for the advertised 11.30an tour, only to find out the tour times listed at the stadium were different to the website. Next tour is at 1.00pm

Due to limited time in Malaga we struggle to locate the Malaga stadium, when we finally arrived at the stadium it was due to close. In the souvenir shop we were told it will be closing in five minutes, when we arrived at the reception we were the only one and our guide was Domingo. The stadium was beautiful also the press room, the home dressing room and the Seating area in the stadium. Best of all was the amazing artwork and the illusion of the Malaga FC badge along the main corridor. We have viewed many football stadium but the illusion in the corridor was outstanding just amazing. Domingo was excellent guide.

If you want go to a game it is ok meantime as MalagaCF are in the secunda so demand is lower. Dont book online at home - phone or best go to the club shop. 30000 ish capacity and central - 15 min walk from rail/bus station. Trouble free in our experience - 3 games in last 2 years or so. ADVICE - be careful when buying you tickets as us tourists are given high seats which is ok if you are young and fit but not so clever for us oldies. Its a long way up to the top of the stands and the seats are tilted forward. We had to leave early once because my good lady was very uncomfortable. Ask for a low level seat

Always a fantastic atmosphere at Málaga's famous Estadio La Rosaleda, even after the drop into La Liga 123 this season.
Went for the derby against Cádiz & wasn't disappointed by the noise & backing as always.
If there is a game on when in the city would always advise a trip here, especially for any football/soccer fan. Tickets usually pretty easy to come by (the ticket office is easy enough to find & use that you can avoid the touts hanging about outside the stadium).
Stadium is about a 20/30 walk down a straight road from the city centre/port area of Málaga, easy to find, but a taxi is only around €10/12 anyway if its needed.

I have been several times at this stadium and always had a good time. I had VIP tickets - so plenty good food and drinks from arrival to departure. Also very good is that you get free parking very close to stadium. It is clean and nice, all people very friendly.

What a fabulous stadium full of families, no trouble, hardly any police, a wonderful backdrop of the mountains and the sun shining down. A ticket for the match was just 20 euros, and a bottle of Sprite, a hamburger and crisps came to just 5 euros....unbelievable. Well done Malaga, a lesson to the English Premier league!

Went to match on Saturday 4th February against Espanyol. Although not the best game of football the experience was very good. The stadium is not big so can get good views from most seats. Didn't have any problem getting a ticket from the club 40 euro but price for adult start at 20 euro except when the likes of Barcelona visit. The atmosphere was terrific and appeared to be very family friendly.
Although no public transport directly to the ground it is a straightforward 25 minute walk from the city centre just follow the course of the (dry river).

Being a football addict I just had to take in a la liga game whilst in the area. Tickets were very easy to book, did so at home before leaving and you can print them yourselves or have them on your phone. Thankfully I book slightly dearer tickets under cover. You can pick them up from €20 behind the goal for the lesser games.
The day of the match was the worst weather Malaga had seen in years, hammering down with rain but that did not stop the fans from turning out in their numbers. The ground itself is easy to find, just follow the river north. Paid a visit to the club shop which was very busy. Didn't buy a shirt as they were €70, I though ours were dear. Entry to the ground was easy just scan your ticket. We were sat on the half way line and the view was very good, the fans in the area very friendly, interested in me as I was wearing my teams colours. The atmosphere once the game started was amazing, all of a sudden out of nowhere came hundreds of fans and they stood behind the goal in the pouring rain singing their hearts out. The crowds in the grandstands responded with clapping and chants echoing those of the mass below. There was a little group on English fans in one corner who are residents and they joined in with there own songs in English. Food and drink was comparable to our prices.
We were rewarded with a cracking game, finishing 4-3 to Malaga with a stunning 91st minute winner.
