We have recently visited the Jaleo Flamenco Show and paid an extra 10 euros for a meal. The show was very short,a late start meant it ran for only 40 mins, during that time we saw only 2 dances and heard guitar playing and singing. It...More

There is a museum for major fans of flamenco, but the real deal here is the show, which is usually on Thursday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. Do not miss this show if you have even the slightest interest in flamenco -- it will...More

For most, a skip. Created by and for aficionados. Some text. Not translated. For the feel of the art. Costumes you can get up close to. Guitars. Posters. Fans. A collection of record players. Statues of dancers. It's really charming. But not for everyone.

The best 15€ I've ever spent. Basement Club, one glass of wine inc, predominately Spanish and hugely appreciate Audience. Intro in Spanish followed by an hour long Show which for me is the best I've ever seen, Flamenco or otherwise. Four Performers, all incredibly charismatic...More

Flamenco is an Arte, often a dancing history; with special shoes, clothes for ladys and mens, castagnettes; If you have seen a flamenco show in Malaga, visit also this lovely Museo de Arte Flamenco and his history of a long time. Flamenco Arte needs feeling.

Lovely entrance and very helpful gentleman on site- 1 euro donation which I imagine barely covers the running costs. He explained about the evening flamenco shows which unfortunately I couldn't make- sounded good. Interesting little museum- the first diploma for the Cante Hondo prize in...More

Founded in 1958, it was named in honor of one the city's most revered flamenco singers from the late 1800s, Juan Breva, and it's one of the best places on the Costa del Sol to see flamenco performed in a traditional, 19th-century building. During the...More

This is a small museum located on a couple of floors. There are programs, pictures and costumes. It appears to be mostly about the local flamenco scene beginning about the middle of the century.

What appears to be private collection, the gentleman in the café sells the tickets and we were shown around on our own. Two rooms all the information is in Spanish but interesting none the less memorabilia including pictures, posters, records and beautiful clothing.
