I went to Annelien while visiting Malaga this winter and I have not forgotten about my
amazing experience!
Annelien so knowledgeable about her products, its facinating and you really feel like you're in the best hands. Everything was customized to my skin needs and I loved the way the products felt on my skin. I spent the day in her care and felt super rejuvenated afterwards. This spa is super cozy and welcoming -- I'm happy this place exists! I hope to visit again if I'm ever in Malaga!

La Pausa is a wonderful Gem hidden behind the Cathedral in Malaga centre. If you need a bit of time out or pampering Annelien will see to your needs. She does amazing treatments, massages, facials and manicures. I had a facial this week but calling it a facial really does not do it justice.It was the most wonderful and relaxing facial ever. Not only did my skin feel great but it was so relaxing. She really takes time and care to ensure you enjoy every moment of your treatment. The products were all lovely and I left feeling so refreshed and pampered. I will definitely be back for more and I highly recommend La Pausa for anyone who needs a bit of time out or wants to give themselves a treat on holiday or wants to prepare themselves for a special occasion.

I must say that of you want one to one treatment (which is Very unusual) you make an appointment at this place. I have never seen this level of hygiene. Anelin was (I think her name was) thorough and extremely nice (genuinely). I got there with my husband and 7month old baby and she really made us all feel very comfortable. The view was fantastic. It has been now 3 weeks and my feet have never felt so soft “post pedicure”. I really recommend this because she is working solo and very interested in what she is doing and less so in the time she is spending. It’s by far the best treatment I have had. Thank you Anelin

I booked a treatment at La Pausa as a surprise birthday treat for my friend who lives in Malaga, whilst I was visiting. I made the reservation via email and received speedy responses from the owner Annelien who was able to tailor a package to meet our requirements - particularly important as my friend is heavily pregnant. On arrival, we were met by Annelien and made to feel welcome and at ease - I waited in a comfortable lounge area whilst my friend received her treatment (which she reports was excellent). At no point were we rushed and as such, the whole experience was relaxed and highly professional.
La Pausa is definitely worthy of a 5 star review...modern, professional and everything you would expect from a high quality beauty spa - small but perfectly formed!

Well I am truly blown away with my pampering experience from Annelien. From start to finish this wonderful, caring and charming woman makes you feel so special. I have experienced treatments all over the world but this was something else. I booked for a facial, manicure and pedicure. I wasn’t expecting the attention to detail and 100% dedication I was given. This is way more than you think. I have beautiful nails, my Pilates facial was out of this world and I also had a back massage. Champagne was also included and just that extra touch is so special. Annelien is such a wonderful woman knows how to treat her clients and we had so much in common which makes for an even better experience when you have a connection with someone. I will for sure be back when I return to Malaga and would recommend any woman who is feeling like a little me time and pamper session to book as you will not be disappointed. Thank you again Annelien it was a pleasure to meet you.

My friend and I were only visiting Malaga for one weekend, but we really wanted to relax on top of our cultural visits. So we booked a pedicure at the end of our weekend. And it was the best pedicure we both ever had! Annelien worked for 3 hours and our feet never looked better! On top of it we had an amazing view, and very nice talk. Absolutely recommended.

I visited La Pausa last month and had a wonderful experience! The combined massage and facial I had was incredible - relaxing but rejuvenating and with the use of beautiful products. It was a perfect start to a holiday for a break with my mother. Annelien had incredible attention to detail making sure I was comfortable and so generous with her time. The room is tastefully decorated and a short drive from the city centr taxi. I hope to return to Malaga and definitely to Annelien!

Thank you so much for this lovely review... Everytime I read such great compliment about my work my heart makes a little jump. Thank you for making my day, but I couldn't have done it differently as everybody who steps in here is special to me. Hope to see you again maybe when you will be visiting Malaga.

If you want a real treat for yourself and a luxury experience, you should absolutely choose La Pausa. Annelien is not only a great professional - she knows exactly what treatment to recommend and the treatments are of an excellent quality - she also makes you feel at ease and very comfortable. Facials at La Pausa are one of the best I have had and I always look forward to them when I am in Malaga. As Annelien says herself, she loves what she does, and it definitely shows!

I went to visit Anneline after my husband booked, and spent a few glorious hours there. It took less than 15 mins to walk there from Malaga centro, even though Anneline tried to persuade me to take and pay for a taxi. I left it up to her to pick a treatment, and despite only suggesting 90 mins, she spent a lot longer (only charged me for 90 mins), on the most wonderful massage and facial. If I lived in Malaga, I would have already booked my next visit, unfortunately I will have to settle for an appointment next Summer. Anneline clearly does this job because she loves it, it comes across in everything she does and says. I highly highly recommend La Pausa, it is so often we are disappointed when booking treats like this, but I promise this will far exceed your expectations.

The best facial I've ever had! Instead of lying and waiting, as one often does during a mask, I was given a foot massage. Back, face, hand and head massage also included, and I think she spent at least an hour more than she was supposed to. I may have been lucky since there was no appointment directly after mine, but anyway that's just great service! I will definitely be back. Soon :)

Sí tengo tratamientos específico para mujeres embarazadas que es una combinación entre facial y corporal que incluye masaje de la espalda, un bálsamo mascarilla para prevenir estrías para la barriga, masaje para reducir las piernas hinchada más una facial para dejar la piel iluminada y fresca como una mujer embarazada debería sentirse durante todo su embarazo. Duración serán 2H30 para 71,-€
Todos los productos son libre de perfumes, conservantes y paraben.

Dear Madam,
The salon is situaded on a high hill next to the castle Gibralfaro. Busline number 35 will take you there, however if you want to come for a treatment you can take the taxi (taken from the city centre) and I will reduce the costs from the total of your bill. Hope that this has satisfied your answer!
