We found this tour on the internet and made a reservation with them for a 11.00am tour of the city. Guides very easy to find in the Plaza with their blue umbrella. Checked in with the guides and we were given a ticket. At 11 prompt the guides called everyone together and due to the large number there for the English tour, about 30, they split us into two groups.

Our guide was Nahuel, lovely young man, who explained the tour to us and what we could expect from the tour. Nahuel was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the city. He also injected some humour into the tour and gave us lots of tips about where to go on our own. The tour lasted just two hours, and Nahuel kept everyone together. No one drifted away during the tour. The tour finished by the Malaga museum, where we sat for a group photo. I think that everyone contributed to Nahuel's coffers. The money given was well spent. a most enjoyable and informative tour.

I understand that Explora do a food and wine evening tour of Malga which we will definitely join on our next visit to this beautiful city.

We did the free city walking tour with Julio this week & we learned SO much from him! There is a 10min midway stop in a bar to try the famous Malaga wine if u want to..or to use the free, clean bathroom. This tour was so good that we decided to go on their “alcazaba tour” the next day & so glad we did b/c otherwise we would have paid the 3.50e entry fee & not know what we were looking at (little signage & it’s in Spanish. I do believe they had an audio guide for extra charge). Alejandro really brought the place to life!! Both tours were great but if you only have time for 1, I recommend the city tour. & if you are interested in seeing the alcazaba, then I would definitely see it with “explore Malaga”(BLUE umbrella group)!!👍

I did the late afternoon tour with Nahuel. It was a relatively small group so it was a lot better to listen and interact. Nahuel was great and gave a lot of information about the history of Malaga, taking us to the main areas in the city centre. As other free walking tours, you pay what you want in the end.

My friend and I decided to do a free walking tour to get to know Malaga better. Alejandro our tour guide was very knowledgeable, funny as well as open and positive minded. He shared a lot of interesting insights and historical facts of the city. We enjoyed it and recommend this experience for anyone who would like to have a profound overview of the city. 🤗

After seeing the near forty degree forecast on the morning of our visit to Málaga, we decided to switch from the pre-booked 1pm tour to an earlier start. Used the chat on the website and got a reply within ten minutes, all very professional and accommodating.

It was easy to find the large group waiting in the central Plaza de la Constitución where we were split into two packs of around a dozen people with separate guides.

Our guide, Alejandro, was Málaga born and bred and incredible knowledgeable and passionate about his home city. At every one of the ten or so stops, we were informed and entertained in equal measure with facts and stories about the city’s long and fascinating history.

It’s easy to tune-out on guided visits, but the pace and content was dynamic and rich and gave me a whole new perspective on a city I’d visited several times before and thought I knew reasonably well.

Highly recommended. But if you’re going in summer, go early!

Luis showed us the sights and sounds of Malaga on a free walking tour. It was excellent, entertaining and full of the knowledge you’d expect from a local tour. As well as telling us about the history and stories of Malaga, he gave us tips on how to make the most of the city during our stay. A great way to spend a couple of hours!

So my wife Sam and I have visited Malaga on a few previous occasions and have visited a number of the tourist sites. This time we decided to take advantage of a free walking tour with Explora Malaga (look for the blue umbrella) what an informative and fun tour. Over two hours discovering the history of Malaga. We loved it so much we went to the afternoon tour of the Alcazaba and discovered the Muslim influence on city when they ruled for over 700 years. Alejandro was a great guide and such fun. Some really great places to capture photographs for the gram. 5* 👌

I did the evening free walking tour with Julio and it's been one of the best free walking tours I've ever done. We were lucky to be a small group of under 10 people, so Julio was able to answer all our questions and talk about Malaga's history, people and traditions in the most exciting way.
Definitely recommended!

We took a free walking tour as we had only one day in Malaga and this seems to be as the best way to get familiar with the city you visit. Julio was our guide and he managed to connect Malaga's rich history with present times. It was interesting and physically not demanding.

What an interesting and thorough way to discover Málaga. We were lucky enough to have Alejandro all to our self taking us in a travel machine through the history of Malaga starting from the 21st century and all the way to the times when the Fenicians ruled. We particularly loved the visual images that he shared with us and the overlays to demonstrate how parts of the city originally looked like. During our guide, Alejandro took his sweet time to explore the hidden gems and made Málaga come to life for us! Definitely a tour to recommend!

P.S restaurants recommendations on point!
