This Plaza is one of the main squares in the centre of old Malaga, surrounded by huge cycas trees that give much-needed shade in the very hot summers. Likewise, the impressive fountain in the middle of the square, which can provide a much-needed refreshing spray...More

This plaza is right along the water. It has shops and fast food and a lot of life to it. Also you can watch the water, the people, and the boats. A nice place.

Plaza is located near the Ferris Wheel and gateway from port to main town area. It’s almost an island between two very busy roads and can take a while to get across due to sequence of traffic lights. The tourist office is handy if you...More

Located opposite the cruise ship shuttle bus drop off and pick up. Good landmark to get you back to the bus! Nice place to relax.

This place presents a natural gateway into the splendid Malaga harbour. Once you are facing the square, you see some of the most grand-style building in the city, incl. the Marriott hotel.

The Plaza is a super spot to get your bearings from. The port is to the south side and the town to the north. Worth using it as a meeting point as the underground Marina is just below it and the tourist information is also...More

You can't miss the square since going between the harbour and the city centre, you'll most likely be passing via the square. There's a lot of things happening around the area, one side has the park, the other side the harbour where cruise ships dock.

We visited on a day when there was a cruise ship in port and the whole area was very busy as the transfer/shuttle buses from the ship drop cruisers off just across the road. It is very easy to find as it is very close...More

The distance is 3.3 km. When there are cruise ships there is a bus that brings them to the Plaza de la Marina for a nominal fee.
