It is a small science musem about the history, exploring, and aminals of the sea. I thought the displays and facilities were relatively nice comparing to size of the museum. There were lots of kids from local schools to have a class there with their...More

Pleasant marine museum in a modern building in Malaga port area. Small fish/octopus tanks on one floor, marine artifacts, overpriced for what they offer. Great for kids, interactive. As adults, we'd skip it.

New small two storey museum with aquarium and large number of static exhibits about local sealife. Highlights were large tank with rescued sea turtle recuperating before release (the 4th one this year), preserved specimens of very large squid and viewing platform looking across the harbour....More

The Museo Alborania is an enjoyable museum because its focus is the nearby sea called the Mar de Alboran. The museum stesses conservation of the natural resources of the sea. I enjoy seeing the collection of sea shells and the museum store is very good.

Cost of entry to this museum was included in the ticket for the Malaga tour bus. We'd already spotted it on an earlier walk around the port & were planning to visit anyway during our holiday. What a bonus to find it covered by the...More

Don't spend your money there! I took them a severely injured seagull and they completely ignored it. The cranky man at the door told me without even looking me in the eyes that they don't take any responsability on these birds. The funny thing is...More

3 adults and one child = 26 euros. This poor example of a museum is a waste of time and money. Avoid, houses a shell collection, some info on local fishing history and half a dozen small fish tanks too high for young kids to...More

You know they were advertising 'Blackfish' when they have turtles swimming about in a puddle. It's really not on. Their advertising is terrible and half the time i walked past it seemed closed. Set those turtles free!!!
