Felix Revello de Toro is one of the best portrait painters in Spain and he loves to paint women, especially beautiful women. This museum showcases his paintings. The museum building used to be the workshop of Pedro de Mena, the best sculptor of the 17th...More

I'm not particularly fond of Revello de Toro, I mean, he's great with ladies portraits, but not my cup of tea. However, there are several loose pencil sketches too that make the place worth the visit. The projection about Pedro de Mena is a must.

This small museum is tucked away in the heart of Malaga. We'd often passed it without realising, but it really is worth seeking out. We have long been fans of Julio Romero de Torres, the Cordoban artist, and discovered a new love when we visited...More

This small gallery features the artwork of an excellent portraitist. Fascinating and worth a visit. Not to be mistaken with a bull-fighting museum.

I am certainly no expert on art but I really enjoyed my visit. Stunning paintings on three floors based on different eras. €6 entry.

The staff caused a scene with a local restaurant here. Police involved. Bad atmosphere. Not ideal. Give your trade to the local restaurants.

Fantastic artwork his paintings are mesmorising. Over 3 floors you have an audio guide which is very helpful. Not the biggest museum but well worth a visit. We went in the afternoon and we could walk round at our leisure as it was not crowded.

An empty museum, tucked away in a corner, where I was the only visitor. The paintings and drawings by Revello are not to everyone's taste and they certainly weren't to my taste. However, the house itself is C17th and was originally owned by Pedro de...More
