Our Philosophy: Aircraft are not for show, they are meant to be touched. The museum is open to all, whether you are new to aviation or not. All who want to help out have their place as a Museum Friend.

We want to make aviation approachable to everyone.

We are one of the few museums worldwide that allow free entry to its aircraft cockpits on demand. Flying today has become so routine that we sometimes forget the magic that is rising into the air like a bird, and soaring through the sky. So we want to show you all aspects of aviation in an approachable way; so that you feel completely at home.

Our aircraft are restored selflessly by our volunteers: we gladly open their doors for you, because we believe sitting at a pilot's seat is an enriching experience.

Really enjoyed our visit to the museum spending 2hrs viewing the exhibits and having a picnic on the lawns. The facility is free but donations are welcome in the collection boxes to pay for upkeep and aircraft refurbishment. A good way to spend sometime if you have an afternoon flight and want something to occupy the morning. (closed on Sunday's).... More

I spent a morning wandering round this place with a Plane Spotter who wanted to see the museum and spot and it is a great location for plane spotting, or just watching the Aircraft. There is really a little bit of everything Aeronautical in the place, from the original terminal, whole planes, through Air Traffic Control, down to tickets and... More

Airports by nature, often suck but I really like Malaga. Very open, very friendly, and a good amount of features. The security was a little long but they did a good job getting everyone through. Overall a great airport.

The museum has a only a few aircraft (about a dozen, some out, some indoors), but it also has historical pieces related to ATC (you even hear live radio of Malaga air traffic) and the tower, aircraft engines, aircraft models, Spanish airlines memorabilia and uniforms. You can get in some of the aircraft and even play the announcements in the... More

I brought my engine-loving husband to the museum as a treat for him, and found it was quite interesting for me too - the original airport terminal building is filled with flying memorabilia from the days when air travel was much more than just a way of getting from A to B. Simply but interestingly done, the best part was... More

This museum is hidden away but well worth finding, its free entry but there is a bottle in reception for donations the recommended donation being three euros which is well worth it and more besides as it goes towards the upkeep. A friendly girl is in the reception area and shows you where everything is, there was more here than... More

The last time we visited this airport it was in 1998. They have since extended it and made it a lot bigger. It is now a lovely airy airport, and it was a pleasure to use it.
