Pier One is a very nice place with many restaurants and shops selling different things. You can also see luxury boats and allows you to stroll with a view of the sea and the aroma of fish cooked in the restaurants that line the pass. The Pompidou Centre is also located in the surrounding area, where the National Centre for Arts and Culture is located.

The Muelle Uno is a quay near the port which was transformed a few years ago into a shopping and restaurant area. It's nice to stroll around, have a drink or visit the few clothing shops. Malagueta beach is not far away.

We enjoyed a perfect Christmas dinner al fresco at Muelle Uno. The food was wonderful -- ribs so tender you could almost eat the bones, a succulent presa iberica, and a perfectly grilled filet. Wait staff was attentive and congenial. We will return when we visit Malaga this summer.
We are delighted that your experience at Muelle Uno was a pleasant one. We hope to see you soon at Muelle Uno

From the Parque de Malaga across the street, the promenade begins at the art object of the Centre Pompidou. There is a wonderful view over the harbor to the cruise terminals. Three mega yachts were anchored on the promenade.

There is a small "Muelle Uno EKZ" with shops (perfumery, Lacoste, boutiques and an ALEHOP with cheap products. The lighthouse "La Farole de Malaga" is here and opposite is the city beach "Playa la Malagueta".

Awnings above the promenade protect visitors from the sun's rays.

A visit is recommended.

The place i will be viewing is Malaga I visited during the summer holidays which is a great time to visit. In Malaga, it is beautiful.if f you go you won’t regret it! I recommend going somewhere near the coast but if you’re in the centre that is fine you can always get a taxi they are very cheap but all serious terms the beaches are unforgettable the water is crystal and turquoise the sand is soft and has shells for you to collect. I also suggest getting there early so you have loads of time there.

At Malaga the people are lovely and the sights are amazing but the ice cream is better a thick soft and tasty ice cream is just what you need in a day in Malaga they sell xxxl ice creams for a euro I got a chocolate *chefs kiss* it was only one euro.

Most of the time people only talk about beaches but if your more a sightseeing and dare devil don’t worry I’ve got you!
Starting off with sight seeing there’s loads of castles n castle ruins that some you can get a carriage to so you get the full experience they are a must see if you are more a dare devil there’s bungee jet skiing blow up park on water and etc. if I told you more you would be here forever!!!!

I hope you visit and have a great time!

Be careful when paying with a bank card in vending machines located in the Muelle Uno toilets, they charge extra with the excuse of "a bank hold." I consumed a product from said machine worth 1.60 euros, charging me 5 euros. The company that owns it is DELIKIA n.564104. As of today, they have not reimbursed me for the overcharged money, so I will take action against the owner of the vending machine.

We (2 adults + 1 child aged 10) were actually here almost every day during our visit to Malaga.
It's wonderful to stroll around and check out the restaurants and shops. Everything is beautifully decorated and looks very well-kept. Of course there are a lot of people here at peak times.
We also liked the parking garage there. We always parked there and then walked the few meters to the beach. The parking garage is huge, has lots of big parking spaces and is very modern (the license plate is scanned and linked to the ticket you have drawn, so you don't have to put a ticket in when you drive out after paying, as the scanner recognizes the license plate).

Malaga is quintessentially a Mediterranean destination, with a relaxed pace of life, an excellent cafe culture, beautiful urban beaches and a variety of great holiday lifestyle experiences. It boasts the warmest winters of all European southern cities thanks to a unique microclimate, and it has an average of 300 days of sunshine each year. Muello Uno is a modern, vibrant orange tree lined promenade, comprised of shops, restaurants, gastro bars, a spectacular modern museum and it is, undoubtedly, one of the most successful redevelopment projects undertaken by the progressive local Municipal Authority. This chic waterfront area also boasts magnificent panoramic views of the city’s Alcazaba and many other historic monuments and it has a truly modern maritime feel to it. It is very easy to find, just walk down the marble paved Marqués de Larios shopping street from the old town towards the Mediterranean and keep an eye out for La Farola, the attractive lighthouse at the entrance to Malaga harbour. The striking Centre Pompidou, is easy to pick out, the Iberian branch of the famous Parisian museum is a huge playful cube of multi coloured glass with a world class collection of modern art, and it is worth remembering that entrance here is free on Sunday evenings.

Muelle Uno is a short walk from downtown Malaga along a beautiful seaside promenade. Muelle 1 hosts the local Pompidou Center for contemporary art. Next to it along the muello is a modern shopping and restaurant area that lure to stay for longer. A replica of a galleo offer a moment of excitement; get a feeling for a voyage to Central America for treasure hunting. The galleon is very photogenic so do not forget your camera. In the evenings you can experience a nice sunset on the muello or on a catamaran yacht. You will be in for a nice afternoon / evening treat!

Muelle Uno is located next to the Port of Malaga. It was opened in 2011. You can find a large number of shops and restaurants from the seafront promenade.

It is also a popular entertainment and leisure center in Malaga. It hosts arts and crafts markets, art exhibitions, concerts, and open-air films.

The 38-meter high lighthouse La Farola and La Capilla del Puerto de Malaga, a small 18th-century Baroque church are also located here.

@dchportevendres from Clogheen, Ireland does this much more elegantly than me, so I won't say too much. Read their very elegant report from earlier this month.
We enjoyed this part of the city. Well worth a stroll. We went once on a Sunday late afternoon & it was hiving! Suspect the locals walk on a Sunday when off work. Came back later in week & was much quieter. Stopped off at Heladeria Conico for very nice frozen youghurt.
