We visited La Rosilla for Supper Club; a Saturday night special themed dinner for a small number of tables. It was Thai night and we were sent a choice of Vegetarian and non Veggie dishes for three courses. Communication was really easy and prompt.
The villa is not difficult to find ,( with Google Maps) but it is in the Campo. We enjoyed the drive.
The terrace is so pretty and has a great rural view. The atmosphere was friendly and laid back but service was really efficient.
The food was tasty and all homemade with amuse bouche and palate cleanser as little extras. Drinks were cheap!
Overall we had a lovely evening and would definitely go again. We are also going to get Lindsey over to cook for us soon.
A really nice place to spend an evening...or two!

We traveled from Malaga to visit Lynsey and La Rosilla. It was wonderful. Connecting to culture through both making and eating the local cuisine was spectacular. Lynsey was a blast and perfectly suited to host guests (large and small) at her beautiful and estate. We will always cherish our time at La Rosilla.

Oh my! The second time was even better.!! Our first visit was a paella class and have done that multitude of times for our guests in Vancouver. This time we asked for a class of Lynsey's choice. It was tapas!! The best ever! The selection and the flavor s surpassed anything we were expecting. So many things to impress our friends with. You will not be disappointed! Can't wait for third time!!

One of our favorite experiences in Andalucia: Lynsey is such a wonderful and kind host; we made paella (fun and not very labor intensive), enjoyed wine on the patio with an incredible view (the drive up to her house is magical as well) and learned a lot about paella, local ingredients and local customs. Kids loved it as much as we did. Can’t recommend highly enough. Magical afternoon.

I arrived to a fabulous little villa in the mountains and was greeted by Lynsey Drake who owns the villa.
We then were taken to her vegetable garden to pick what we were going to cook and eat later that day.
We picked runner beans /aubergines-red peppers-courgettes-potatoes-onions herbs and salad leaves and finally a massive water melon.
We were taught how to prepare and cook Aubergine and Parmasan bake followed by Wild Mushroom Courgette rissotto and for dessert Coconut & Cardamon tart with some Fresh melon and figs( again picked from the garden).
Lynsey is the Hostess with the mostess taking a lot of time in showing all the preporation methods and then watching me cook it.
I can't recommend this cookery course highly enough. What a fantastic fun filled day.

Lynsey was an amazing host as well as an amazing teacher/cook. Her hospitality combined with her gorgeous tucked away little paradise in the mountains was one of the highlights of our visit to Spain.

Me and my friends had such an amazing experience at La Rosilla!
The way up the hill was a bit adventurous, but with stunning views. When we arrived at La Rosilla the cute little home of Lynsey and her family and the warm greeting made us feel very welcome and comfortable directly.
We cooked some delicious meals and learned a lot about the Mediterranean diet and Lifestyle. It was very authentic and we had a lot of fun. We will definitely cook some of those for our friends and family at home.
All in all, Lynsey is such a lovely person and I can just recommend this experience to everyone, it will be the highlight of you holiday!

When in Malaga city be sure to find a guide to help you understand the history and negotiate on your behalf with restaurants etc. If you are looking for an English speaking walking tour I can recommend Lynsey Drake. Originally from Stratford upon Avon in the UK, Lynsey has fluent Spanish and a deep knowledge of this historic town. We were supposed to pay €100 for 3 hours and between 4 people that’s a very small price to have a guide in your company who can save you money by getting the best quality food and wine at local rates. Because we had a special request which interrupted the planned walking tour, Lynsey had to adjust her time schedule and nothing was a problem. Instead of getting 3 hour tour Lynsey stayed with us (I think she was enjoying the fun as much as we were) for 9 hours. She did not charge us 1 cent extra and made our trip to Malaga very special.
This was the best walking tour we ever took and now I want to try and forget all we learned and go back and do it all again.
If you want a 5 star tour - look no further.

We (a party of 4) will be in Malaga 27 Feb - 5 Mar 2016. We are very interested in your paella cooking class thanks to the wonderful reviews.
Do you have any days available during that time frame?
Approximately how long does it take - from the time where we meet you until the class/meal is complete?
What is the cost per person?
