I have seen shows before but nothing compares to what I witnessed last night. The passion was unbelievable, I felt exhausted when I left I got so caught up in the dancing it was so intense, the singing was just amazing ,the guitar playing , perfect. If you want a real feel spanish up close and personal experience myself and my husband would highly recommend. Great price point and includes a drink . Also on a plus , a few cute tapas bars in the vicinity for before and after the show. We visited in September 2021 just after covid so not many tourists an intimate audience but you wouldn't know or feel uncomfortable as the performance would have suited 1-100 . I couldn't recommend enough. Thank you we certainly be back 😀

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. While not cheap, it is no more expensive than other places - some of which might be described as tourist traps. This is the real deal - a wonderful passionate performance by people who clearly love their art. They take the trouble to translate the introductions into english for those of us still struggling to learn Spanish - which is much appreciated and really adds to the experience. Highly recommend

Fantastic show. Great small venue (about 10-15 tables) so everyone can see well. 1 dancer, 1 guitarist & 2 singers on the night we were there. Beautiful traditional gypsy style flamenco performed with genuine feeling. I have seen many flamenco shows over the years from lots of the greats (Antonio Canales, Farruquito, Paco de Lucia, Tomatito, Buika…) so was nervous to come to a small tourist show. However I enjoyed Kelipe’s performance as much as any big shows due to the small intimate nature & performances from the heart. If you want spotty dresses, perfect hair, fans & technical perfection, don’t come to this show. If you want art, emotion & “flamenco puro”, you’ll love it.

A drink was included & there was a self service bar with beer, wine etc. which was a nice touch.

Extremely disappointed. I have been to a few flamenco performances before and I must say, this was by far the weakest. It feels like a budget put together kind of show on an expensive ticket. There’s no change of costume, no “castanholas” and the whole performance revolves around this one lady who is fine but after 20 minutes it gets tiring to see only her (on a cheap dress) and not have a man/someone else dancing as well. The whole thing feels cheap: their outfits, the chairs were seating on (very uncomfortable) and even the drinks they serve are bad quality. I wish I could have my money back.

Dear Mr. Pedro, KELIPÉ is a big believer that the client is sacred. We apologize for not satisfying your expectations, we accept all opinions and critics received during these last 20 of visitors. Admiration words and also constructive critics. But, let us make an observation, and even though you are not directly responsible, the concept you might have about flamenco is not the correct one. The responsibility is of those who dedicate their time to the commercialization of flamenco. The clothing has nothing to do with flamenco, nor changing of dresses, nor "castanholas" which are sold as a flamenco product but dont have nothing to do with it. KELIPÉ, during this last 20 years has been offering a flamenco which is gypsy, authentic and most natural possible. We take note of your advice and hope to see you again in our establishment. Kind Regards, KELIPE

The touristic image of Flamenco with ladies dancing in ornate Spanish dress was nothing like we were to experience on this evening.

Occupying the four solitary chairs on the small stage was a young male signer (sorry his name escapes), Antonio, a specialist in authentic Flamenco singing, Susana, the sole Flamenco dancer and Amit the Flamenco guitarist.

What they delivered was an emotion and passion wrenching performance that held our smiles for well over an hour. We marvelled at their group skills. Amit on the Flamenco Guitar was mesmerising; the dexterity, energy and stamina of Susana was spellbinding yet within a few seconds of the completion of a dance she was speaking controlled and tranquil. We confess not to being familiar with Flamenco singing but we could easily recognise the male vocalists signing to be accomplished and, in addition, they were providing an almost constant backbeat with clamping and foot stamping.

An experience we shall look back on for many years to come.

Muchas gracias Kelipe.

We enjoyed the performance so much. Three artists all three pure professionals. High class level of perfection. A flamenco danceress/singer. A male singer Antonio with a voice to compare with and kick the socks off the Gypsy Kings. And finally the genius guitar whose solo was nothing less than mesmerizing.

We had no experience with flamenco, but was interested in experience this old, cultural heritage. It is a small room, with all the focus on the stage. There's a reason for that.
This is a very dedicated, talented group of people, who has orchestred an event together, filled with passion and joy.
The show is apr 2 hours and they give it all, even though the room was not fully booked. We soon learned that the rhythms in flamenco is extremely hard to do right, and yet they did it so naturally.

Without real teamwork, sense of timing, rhythm, 1000s of hours of practise, and sincere joy over others succes, flamenco was not possible. Age and life experience is only a plus. A great experience that we would recommend ❤️

Fantastic flamenco show, not to be missed. We had difficulty trying to purchase tickets online but we were able to buy at the door 30 minutes before the show started. However, this was in late September so may be different situation in the summer. Only 3 performers, guitar, singer, dancer and all 3 were wonderfully talented. A small simple room, very intimate, just the performers and the audience of about 30 people. Very authentic.

Just came back from the Kelipe show. It was one guitar and one singer/dancer (husband and wife), plus a guest percussionist (without instrument). Since it was my first flamenco experience, I can't really judge the singing/dancing, but the guitar work was outstanding. It's a 1 hr show (15 EUR incl a drink) in a shut shopping mall (Galeria Goya, close to Plaza de la Consitution). There is no sound system, so it's very direct. The guitar sound was great, the voice could have been a little louder. Stepping was great. The audience was around 15 people. I think it was a great way to see original flamenco. You can also take photos and record video if you like. I take off one point for the shopping mall setting - at some point there was some noise from somebody picking up stuff from a closed store, which was a bit distracting.
