This town hall was on our way from the beach to the city centre so we passed it many times. On each occasion, you notice the opulence and beauty of the building.

I suppose it is a testament to the history of this place and the wealth it generated. Beautifully ornate it dominates the area and makes for a great photo opportunity.

Don’t miss the park immediately opposite either as it is a very beautiful situation and lovely to walk through. You can get shade from the heat here in amongst the trees and it is very tranquil indeed.

The Town Hall is located next to the pleasant gardens of Jardines de Pedro Luis Alonso with the flower seller statue in the middle. Built on reclaimed land from the sea in a neobaroque style and opened in 1919 it’s easy to spot due to its size from the castle ramparts and mirador viewpoint. Not sure if there’s public access to the interior but from above you can spot the rooftop “smoking lounge” area!

This building is spectacular from the outside but don't miss the chance to go inside where there are some amazing stained-glass windows depicting the history of Malaga and a very grand staircase. In December they hold a nativity scene and you can wander around the building.

Standing outside this building is amazing. Full of history and easy on the eye if you want to take a picture.

An exceptional neo-baroque building built at the beginning of the last century. It is currently used by the municipality of Malaga, in close proximity to the University of Málaga and the Bank of Spain.

Easily seen this is a magnificent building situated on Avenida Cervantes across from the Jardines de Pedro Luis Alonso. Lots of architectural features to look at form the outside, very pleasant on the eye. I believe sometimes you can gain entry to the inside.

Ayuntamiento de Malaga or the municipal city hall of Malaga. The city hall is a fine example of a Neo Baroque building with some interesting features such as the use of the mythical greek Titan Atlas supporting the base of columns. There's also some beautiful nautical themed relief sculpture alluding to the maritime history of the city. Not a must see, but worth a small detour if you're near Parque de Malaga or the Roman Theatre.

Ayuntamiento De Malaga is a beautiful looking building we passed while walking through the beautiful park.
I think this is city hall but not 100% sure but one thing I am sure of is how much of a great looking building this is.
The facade look exquisite and viewed from the Park this building looms absolutely amazing and makes for some great photographic opportunities.
Most definitely well worth going out of your way to view this amazing looking building.
Easy to locate on Avenida Cervantes.

as many others in Malaga. A pity you cannot go inside during weekends unless you have an event like a wedding or similar...

It's not a place to visit inside, but from the outside, it's a beautiful building. Something for locals to be proud off.

Located close to the sea side and the park, you can't avoid seeing it.
