The Chinitas passage is a pedestrian path in the historic center. It is a cruciform shaped street, which starts from the Plaza de la Constitucion.
The preserved marble doorway of an old convent from 1628 gives access from the square.
You can find many cafes and restaurants here.

Aficionados of the Iberian peninsula suggest that in southern Spain there is no historical centre more authentic and with more culture, charm and history than the centre of Malaga. The passageway of Chinitas is one of those very places where history is particularly special and its spell literally hangs in the air as one enters. García Lorca was one of the most important Spanish poets and dramatists of the twentieth century and his famous poem, El Café de Chinitas was dedicated to a bullfighting legend named Paquiro and this alleyway was one of Garcia's favourite haunts, where he frequently socialised with many of his amigos. It is probably here that he developed the theory of Duende which has no exact English translation, but probably refers to spirit, soul, glamour and it is that special quality that make makes something apparently humdrum become something quite special. Intrepid tourists walking along Chinitas will, hopefully, experience a little bit of the elusive and flamenco like type of Duende and spare a thought for Federico del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús García Lorca.

Small alley running from Constitution Plaza towards the cathedral. It's named after Chinitas who was an actor who worked in a cafe in the alley. The famous facade was once part of a nunnery until the 19th century. At the top of the building is the date 1745.

Named after a businessman and former holder of high office in Malaga, it is an atmospheric little laneway.
Building took place on the grounds of a deconsecrated convent that had been founded in 1628. It has some cafes and other retail along its pleasant length.

I love nothing better than wandering around the wonderful Old Town of Malaga ,such a great area of this city ,walking through Plaza De La Constitucion brings you through Pasaje De Chinitas .
Pasaje De Chinitas is an ancient passageway that looks amazing especially at night when illuminated ,in my opinion it's not a must see tourist attraction but it's cool when you view it ,it's easy to locate just off Plaza De La Constitucion and well worth checking out.

Pasaje De Chinitas is an ancient passageway that if your in Plaza De La Constitucion your sure to view.
The passageway runs from the magnificent Plaza De La Constitucion in the direction of the beautiful cathedral.
With so much grand architecture in the square the passageway adds a real touch of history to this wonderful square and is most definitely well worth checking out.

This passage is located on the eastern part of the Plaza de la Constitucion, it is a passage which formerly belonged to the Augustinian convent. Now there are a few bars there, but nothing interesting to visit.
