About
The Museo de Chiclana offers visitors a thematic route, designed as a journey through time, an overall view of the evolution of the city from its prehistoric settlements to the town we know today. Each segment is based on a selection of works typifying a historic period, an artistic movement, or a particular theme. The itinerary can be taken online (a general overview) and gives an approximation of what you will find during the visit to our museum.

So informative about the history of the region. I don't speak Spanish but the visual displays clearly showed the story of the town and the importance of various local industries. It made me more aware of what I saw around me after I had left.

I have been in Chiclana for so many summers and never went in there. I jus popped this morning and I got surprised. It was interesting, to spend an hour in there. The receptionist is so nice and give you all the information you need. I recommend 100%😁

I thought the museo was very good the only down side was that most of the exhibits were all in Spanish which is great as we are in Spain but for tourist who do not speak Spanish it would have made the visit much more interesting if another language such as English was added. On the whole a good experience and it was free entry too.

We spent over an hour at this museum learning a lot about history of the region. Our kids were very engaged in all the information.

Found this museum quite by chance. The museum is set in an old building that has been modernised inside. Lots to see. The only downside I found was that as a tourist attraction most of the information was in Spanish with no other languages available.

Found this by chance but it was a great museum, told the history of Chiclana and was easy to follow despite it being Spanish and us not being able to speak much Spanish.

Had a villa here for 10 years and have only just visited this small museum. It is nothing compared to the larger museums in London but it is full of interesting facts and objects. We learned more about the history of Spain the the hour we were there than in the past 10 years.
