In an atmospheric Plaza with many attractions and eateries, this is one of the landmark edifices. Interestingly it was constructed in two phases, starting in 1799. By around the mid 1800s it was completed.
An attractive façade in decorative Neoclassical style is striking. Within ornate features are abundant with an imposing staircase and attractive art works.

The town hall of Cadiz is located in San Juan de Dios square, which is large and has shops. Imposing structure and light colors that are enhanced on sunny days. It is suitable for souvenir photos.

We did a long self-guided walking tour in the old town and enjoyed all of it. We passed through this big square and noted the city hall, which is attractive. The square in front is one of the biggest in town.

Didn't have a lot of time at this picturesque plaza containing City Hall and the main Cathedral of Cadiz as our tour guide felt rushed for time!!! Gave us 10 minutes so we took our tourist photos and continued on our walking tour! Would have liked to spend more time here but.....

Our guide was especially proud of this building and the architecture. It sits surrounded by a lovely paved "park" that invites locals and visitors alike to enjoy the sun of Cadiz.

Cadiz is a fine City, clean and easy to walk around with plenty of things to see and visit. There are lots of well kept parks and many statutes related to the naval history of the city

Faces the harbour and the cruise ship terminal at the top of the square. Surrounded by cafés . Craft stalls at the week end selling their ares.

Cadiz Town Hall is an impressive building that dominates the Plaza Juan de Dios.
The plaza hosts a variety of Cafes and quite often a small market offering a good selection of crafted goods

I was watching the clock beating 12 at midnight with my friend exactly in front of a townhall. Locals and tourists came around that place to eat uvas (grapes)withing 12 seconds. As per their thing to do so, if you managed to do that - your wishes will come true. No fireworks at that time, but the vibe from the crowd sharing this magical moment was the best.

We really enjoyed walking around Cadiz, Tourist info was very good, they have painted the ground with colours to follow to specific points of interest. Excellent idea for a town that is mainly pedestrian
