Jose Manuel picked us up at the Cruise terminal and took us on a wonderful tour of Cadiz. He was very friendly and gave us lots of information. We have no hesitation in recommending him and CadizTaxiTours. Linda and Christine (oap sisters!)

Jose Manual met the four of us at the cruise ship terminal on Monday Sep 14, 2015 right on time. We booked tour #5 which was a 2 hour tour of Cadiz at 40 Euros per hour. Each additional hour is only 30 Euros if you wish to do additional sightseeing which we did. Since we wanted to visit the Torre Tavira we asked him him to call ahead to determine when an English speaking tour would be held. He managed to fit it in perfectly in our schedule. We also wanted additional time to tour the Cathedral and its museum. More importantly, he spoke perfect English which is not common among taxi cab drivers. In the end our tour lasted 3 1/2 hours for a total cost of 125 Euros for 4 people. A bargain for a private tour especially dropping us off as close as possible to the sights. We highly recommend Cadiz Taxi Tours.

Give this little place a good once over. It's worth it! We were two couples that walked off the ship and took a local taxi. Juan didn't have much English but he did have an English cd which he played in the car. It gave a brief history and a few facts about the town. If you have mobility problems, then you really should take a taxi because we discovered that the taxis in Cadiz can go anywhere! They have special parking in the squares and Juan even drove us out to the island fort for a sunset photo. Only taxis are allowed to go into the squares. And we. went everywhere. Great shopping. Amazing church but there was a service, so we left quietly. Juan directed us to a tapas restaurant for dinner that night. That was interesting... No Spanish from us and no English from the owners but after a few minutes we were given a menu in English. Ha! We will remember that meal for many years to come. There are so so many little bars, restaurants in Cadiz and we didn't head back to the ship until 10.00/10.30pm. There were people everywhere, families, couples. On our way back to the ship, we found some of the street lights were motion activated. Very clever.
