Playa Victoria is one of the most beautiful and peaceful beaches in Cádiz despite being right by the city. Even though I live in London, I always come back here every year where I also used to spend my younger years.
The beach has changed for the better and hasn't lost any charm. It's clean with fine white sand, clear blue waters, ample spaces to relax and bathe. Good emergency and lifeguarding services, and plenty of restaurants and bars alongside the promenade. No need to go to the Caribbean!

This wide swath of beach is a pleasant place to go for a stroll, either to enjoy the warm weather or to escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy areas of Cádiz. There are plenty of eateries along the way, and people love coming here for a nice time, but there's also enough space for you to have some solitude if that's what you want. Easily accessible beach.

We rented two beach chairs and an umbrella for 12euro for the whole day. They didn't even come by to charge us for at least two hours. The beach was clean, and the water was really nice for swimming. Lots of restaurants and people selling drinks around in case you get hungry, but nobody really pestered us.

Very relaxing and pleasant beach.
A lot of fun for children (because of the tide) - and when they play you can relax.
Interesting feature is the tide: at this place in Europe the tide has 2 meter altitude:
At 11-00 in the morning the water is at the lowest level: after the dry sandy dunes you see a wide strip of wet sand with small pools and streams of the retreating ocean. People bring portable chairs to put on this wet sand, or you can choose a secluded place up on the hot sand. Before the noon, the water is refreshing, so few people choose to swim.
From 11-00 to 17-00 the ocean returns, chasing the sunbathers up.
Best time for swimming: from 16-00 to 20-00 (the water is very warm).
Indeed, many people start to arrive from 15-00.
The Playa is equipped with the medical point, and there are sellers of water and beer goind back and forth with their wheel-trucks. However, they do not disturb you because the beach is very wide. There are showers near the stairs.
Bonus: cooling ocean breeze balances the sunshine, making it comfortable
Bonus: no russian-speaking in Cadiz (to be frank, even not too much Ensligh speaking. So you better learn some Espanol, like: 'cerveza' or 'para llavar' :)

Pristine white sands as far as the eye can see, hardly a soul around and nothing but the fresh sea breeze and solitude. Love to just sit around in the sand and do nothing. Definitely a place to visit for some quiet time.

We enjoyed a couple of hours on this lovely stretch of beach in Cadiz. Nice sand and clean water. We were also able to rent chairs for €5 per chair which we found a very fair price.

Lovely sandy beach, great for toilets, showers, on-beach bars and restaurants. Blue flag swimming beach with lifeguards. Sea can be a little feisty but safe enough - just don't turn your back on those rollers! Everybody of all ages having a good time. We were there early October when it was perfect. It may get busier in summer but then it seems to stretch for miles in both directions. Highly recommended.

This place is incredibly scenic and fun. The beach was clean and the water likewise. It was a warm spring day and the water is quite warm. The sand is nice and not too gritty. It's great for te family, not too many places to use the toilet etc but overall a special place to come!

Dentro del agua hay arena o piedras? La profundidad aumenta gradualmente o hay hoyos? Gracias.

No tendrás problemas si vas con niños. Arena fina, ninguna piedra.

Could I rent a sunbed and parasol even if I'm not a guest at a hotel? Also, are there showers I could use? Thanks!

Renting of sunbeds and parasols was possible to make at a separate supplier (not at the hotel; they regerred to another supplier close to the beach). I got the impression that it was not necessary to book sunbeds and parasols in advance. To be sure, please ask at the hotel what they recommend.
There were outdoor shower (cold water) available for everyone at the beach close to hotel Playa Victoria. :)

Are there sunbeds and parasols and if so how much? Staying at Playa Victoria hotel so do they have free beds etc?

Now answering my own question as at Cadiz. The loungers parasols are not owned by hotel n charge €5 per bed per day. So we are by the pool at hotel🤗

Is Playa Victoria very windy? It looks very exposed and Imdont want to sit on a blowy beach!

It does become very windy but it's not just that beach but all up the coast from the Atlantic into the Mediterranean has bouts of high winds that last 2 or 3 days. Don't let that put you off as the sand is very soft and you could purchase a wind break.
