The "Casa de las Cabezas", with its four courtyards and its narrow alley with Muslim origin, called "of the seven Infants of Lara" or "Calleja de los Arquillos" is a wonderful example of a home-Patio from Cordoba , which has its roots in the Middle Ages.

An unexpected encounter! This small museum inside a ‘patio’ home in Cadiz has a startling and tragic story attached to it. It is well reconstructed and well worth a visit.

This was a quick visit, because it was opposite our hotel, but it was an interesting house to see. It has been recently restored, and the photos pre-restoration are fascinating to see how much work has been done. There is lots to see, I'm surprised...More

I visited because my hotel was only metres away to be honest. If you have any interest in how people lived hundreds of years ago you will enjoy this. Only 5 Euro to enter and everything is well laid out with detailed explanations in English....More

What's legend and what's factual history in this rather quaint house? A question I could hardly keep from asking myself all while wandering through its sections and cosy patios. Maybe a hint at the troubled and bloody events of centuries ago was to be revealed...More

If you like small museums this one is worth it. A simple house that has been restored with furniture and pieces from its past. S8mple small and a nice story behind the “House of a Heads” .

A well presented example of a typical moorish house. Lots to look at and pretty internal patios. Good information boards in Spanish and english.

A small well-documented Medieval home, with interesting historical explanations and articles. A quiet stop in the old city, in a small lane and close to the Museo arqueológico.

This is such a good find! It's the carefully restored medieval house of a nobleman ( they have "before" photos!) and is quite fascinating seeing the different rooms and how they were used ( some just in summer, some just in winter). It really gives...More

We got off the Hop on Hop off bus at the appropriate stop for this place but it was only 10 minutes walk from the Mosquita we later discovered! This is a most attractive, peaceful, small house down one of the narrow streets which had...More

Not many tourists find their way here and certainly none of the tour groups, which means it's a nice quiet place to spend an hour or so. It's a medieval house that has been beautifully restored and furnished. There are clear explanations in English as...More
