An attractive building with a peaceful courtyard and numerous small artisan shops with more upmarket and stylish items than the surrounding tourist-oriented shops. Unfortunately the last time I went in October '21, many of them were (temporarily) closed.

I chanced upon this place while exploring the Jewish quarter. It is located on the same street between the Synagogue and the Bullfighting Museum. The first thing that caught my attention was the patio within the courtyard, decorated with beautiful pots of flowers. Surrounding the courtyard are 2 floors of workshops selling beautifully crafted stuff - ceramics, jewellery, silver and accessories. Admission is free. The place is peaceful. Can also take an opportunity to rest before moving on

The two main highlights of our time in Cordoba were the Mezquita and exploring the narrow, winding white-washed streets of the historic Jewish Quarter. This artisan market was one of our stops along Calle Judios.
It was quite small. It’s not really a market, it’s more a collection of several artisans and their studios and a larger gift shop. There is no tourist tat. The quality was far superior to a market so if you want something special or hand-made, then it's worth stopping by.
We spent a little time with the leather artist, watching him work and chatting before choosing a wallet. He also made beautiful bookmarks for the corner of a page, which I was very tempted by.
Other studios and the larger shop had more leather goods, ceramics, tiles, jewellery and accessories, silver and bags.
The other reason to stop here is the traditional patio style courtyard. Cordoba is famous for its patios and if, like us, you don't have enough time to visit any other patio gardens, then this is a great chance to see one. It was such a pretty place. The arched passageways of the upper balcony levels are wrapped around all four sides of the cobbled courtyard. There’s a garden pond and the whitewashed walls are covered in blue hanging pots of flowers, with splashes of geranium colour.
Admission is free and it’s very close by the statue of Maimonides and the historic synagogue.

This is a really lovely looking spot. We just stumbled across it while walking around the Jewish Quarter. It is a collection of shops selling interesting things, but we did not buy anything. The building interested us more than anything else. If you are passing by take a look!

In this area are various restaurants and this is part of the area. Many artisians both display and create their works in this place. From Fans to Leather etc. Most of the items are not cheap but very well made. Loved the Leather Artist. Great stuff but my budget didn't cover what I liked.

We stumbled upon this building earlier in the day but unfortunately they were closed. Lucky for us this was one of the stops we had while on our tour with Angela. This is definitely the place to come if you are looking for a nice quality souvenir. They carry handmade goods such as leather, ceramic and jewelry.

A few shops and a square to see. Overall former private home turned in to a market square. Not special effort worthy.

This is a beautiful market with many amazing artisan stores.
I love the geraniums, wall-flowers in the white patio.
This market is located in the Jewish quarter.

This is a beautiful house. I wasn't interested in buying anything so I can't comment on that but the patio is a place to visit. I went there in September but was told that it is a great attraction during the patios contest in May...

I made an effort to go this place and only one shop was open. It was around 3pm. There was no indication of business hours.

The courtyard was deserted and the mood was somewhat sad.

The products carried by the shop are not unique as I noticed the same products in other souvenir shops.
