As an avid corrida de toros lover, this museum was everything I wanted it to be and more. It is packed with old bullfighting costumes and their owners', all famous toreros, histories and stories, plus the history of the art itself, and fascinating information about how the bulls are bred and detailed explanations as to how the art is performed.... Not very much information in english which was a shame but,a nice fresh well laid out museum. Tricky to find along narrow streets but,not far from the Mesquita.

did this and all ok but did not see any bulls at all strange for a bull fighting museum, there are a lot of stairs to go up and down though.

In this museum, small but beautifully kept, is the hide of the bull that killed in 1947 world famous bull fighter known as Manolete. This is not to everyone´s taste but it is factual. Manolete was depicted in a movie played by Adrian Brody with Penelope Cruz. Also a great film.

This is a no to be missed museum for anyone interested in bullfighting. Very well set out and so much better than the one in Seville

A very true and in depth story of bullfighting as it used to be with video footage. Interesting museum but not for animal lovers

If you have strong opinions against bullfighting, then of course, don't bother visiting this museum. If you are open to learning everything about one of Spain's controversial traditions and how Cordoba is key, by all means, do not miss out. This museum is educational and visual in good taste. The exhibits and multimedia are all very well done and placed... More

This museum is a cold, high tech place that fails to bring alive the story or the glory of bullfighting. Only for those who take pleasure in witnessing this bloody spectacle.
