About
A few meters from the Mosque, in the heart of the capital of the Omeya Caliphate, the emblematic Arab Baths of Cordoba will move you to the peak of the Andalusi kingdom. Give yourself a bath and a massage under its arabesque architecture traversed by the light. Feel the contrasts of water on your skin, a great feeling to stimulate and relax yourself in one session.

Super friendly staff, but limited experience
An improvised last minute visit. A super friendly woman at the door really trying to fit us in with our different wishes. In the end we just had the baths and no massages due to ojr late booking.
When our time started there was a bt of confusion, my Spanish isn’t the best and their English is also limited.
But the staff were really friendly and we had a lovely hour with different baths.
This is however a very small place and hasn’t got much to offer if you compare to for instance Aires Sevilla.
But, this was a nice treat after a few days of travelling and we came out really calm and delighted.

In general, very good. 7 out of 10
This was in general a good experience and was worth it.
On the positive side, baths were great and attractive (even compared to some I've been to in Marrakesh). The massage was good, though I would have liked to been offered a range of intensities (like my partner). But it was very relaxing.
On the negative side, one of the ladies working in the shower area was a bit too gruff and, more importantly, the music was varied (incl opera) and did not fit with the immersive Arabic experience I was expecting and have had in other baths. Should we not expect in a hammam 100% calming Arabic music? We suffer inappropriate musical experiences most places but in a hammam there is absolutely no doubt what one expects and wants to hear. In my opinion at least.

Serene experience
A wonderful world of calmness and serenity away from the bustling streets in Cordoba.
The baths were relaxing, maybe there was a few too many people there at the same time, but by the time I had my treatment (Kessa and massage) the place had thinned out and was so quiet.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Could have done with a little more room to manoeuvre in the changing areas.

Beautiful Hammam but very limited time allowed
The Hammam is beautiful however as I had a 30 minute massage as the session started later then booked I only had 30 minutes in the baths which was far less then expected. I was advised that our time was up immediately after my massage!

Relaxing is an understatement!
Jun 2021 • Friends
I have never been to one of these places before and I'm so glad I tried it in Cordoba! Such a peaceful, beautiful and relaxing place. When you first arrive you get a chosen scented handwash, then you are left to get changed, and then taken into the bathing area and talked through which areas are which and the recommended circuit. We did the 70 minute bath time and 15 minute massage package. I am not usually a massage person, but I thought I would give it a go as it was only a short time. It was amazing! I am so glad I had it. Jose Antonio was a master! He got all my knots and stress out of my shoulders, neck and back. All I could hear was clicking and all I could feel was relief, even in some places I didn't know I needed it! I actually would have been happy to have a longer session with him. I would highly recommend and I hope to do it again soon.

All my senses were pampered
Jul 2020
Sight: with more candles than you can count, yet still soothingly dark.

Sound: gentle music including my favourite piece from Blade Runner.

Taste: I was served tea whilst in the pool.

Smell: free to use scented oils that left the skin smooth (not oily).

Touch: floating, devoid of any physical sensation can be even more relaxing than a massage.

Relaxing
Jan 2020
Had a lovely relaxing 2 hours in here with a 15 min massage .
In the waiting room it felt crowded but once in the baths it was calm, spacious ,peaceful and just what we needed after a hectic day travelling.
Our only bit of feedback for improvement is the lighting in the changing area. It's impossible to see in a mirror to apply makeup after your spa, so we went out to dinner looking clean and au naturale..... not out of choice !

Incredible luxurious experience
We visited at 10pm and it was our favourite activity in Córdoba. Was a very small group so had the pools to ourselves most of the time. The massage was perfect and the pools were perfect in temperature, we definitely could’ve stayed longer. The relaxing music and candles create a really unique experience like no other. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting who would like a quiet relaxing experience.

Beautiful location bad management
Oct 2019 • Couples
I was excited for an afternoon of relaxation after plenty of travelling, so read up and decided to book the Hammam early afternoon as recommendations suggested this was a quiet time to visit. Once through to the waiting area with 4 other couples it seemed apparent there were going to be a few of us. The women were led to separate changing rooms and it was insisted that I put plastic bags on my shoes (I offered to just take my shoes off and carry them to save the single-use plastic but it was not allowed, I still do not understand why) then through the crowded changing rooms to the baths. The building is truly wonderful and ancient, with stars in the ceiling bringing in light and the different pools of water plus a steam room. The massages are all going on in the same room, so quite public (there are curtains but you can see through) this I didnt expect and it gave the feeling of a production line, with you being told where to go and when your time was up. Then back to the even more crowded changing rooms afterwards, where the showers are very cramped. Definitely not quite what I was expecting. I was thinking it would be more luxurious but unfortunately the operators seem to opt for quantity over quality of experience here which is a shame.

Hi swisstravels_11: We regret that the experience was not to your liking. We have a maximum occupancy that we don't usually reach, but some days like the holidays we have spent, we do usually reach that maximum in specific shifts. As for footwear, it is mandatory to put bags on it for hygiene. We do not recommend taking off your shoes before entering the locker room because the floor is paved and it is very uncomfortable to walk barefoot. However, we take note of your comments as they help us improve. Thanks again.

Beautiful and relaxing with extremely accommodating staff
Oct 2019
My wife and I booked treatments at the Hamman Al Andalus. When we showed up we realized that I had booked for the wrong date! The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us and get us in for a treatment and the ownership refunded us the difference between the treatments we had booked and were able to receive due to our scheduling error.

As for the baths, they were beautiful and relaxing. The massage was excellent. My wife, who works for a high-end spa in Canada, described the experience as a dream come true. Highly recommended.
