Awful area in my opinion. Plastic polytunnels as far as the eye can see and bits of plastic everywhere, totally spoiling the landscape. Not my cup of tea at all. Much more beautiful areas in Spain

Not what I expected and a little disappointed with this area of Almeria. There was no beauty here and I felt it seemed a bit grubby just did not do anything for me.

A big park with two sides (if you are driving). The main park info centre is on the Cabo de Gato side and has a display area that gives you a lot of background with English explanations. Going on from here to the lighthouse passes...More

Great day trip from Almeria. Beautiful coastal drive/views. Bring a camera. It's also very windy so be careful.

There is a great range of things to see under and over the water, from a sand beach with a slightly hippie feel (in the best sense). Camping, parking and restaurant nearby (best to book first) at Cala del Cuervo, right next to Playa de...More

This is an amazing area and brilliant for walking in. There are some amazing views from ancient volcanoes to coves and beaches.

Hire a car and explore. This is a huge natural park, famous for many films over the years. Great for walking holidays or simply exploring by car and finding stunning little fishing villages along the breathtaking coastline.

Worth a half day, but make sure you stop to see wild flamingoes in the salt flats, and the stunning limestone cliffs by the sea. Don't expect any trees, as the flora in this part of Spain is very different to the rest of middle...More

Unfortunately I have no idea, there is a list of the birds when you get there and they have nice tourist center which you can visit , but not all days and not all along .
