This is a modern (apparently quite newly refurbished) theatre, with good acoustics. It was rather surprising to find that the only 'bar' at the theatre was a long rickety table outside the theatre, with very limited options for food and drinks (basically just sandwiches and glasses of cava......). We saw a performance of 'I capuleti e i Montecchi' (Bellini's interpretation of the Romeo and Juliet story). The staging was simply bizarre, with hordes of 'dead children' periodically haunting the stage - no idea why. Of course the music was divine, which made the evening enjoyable, BUT (and this is a big 'but') the behaviour of the audience was atrocious. Mobile 'phones regularly went off (and were answered). Some people also decided to 'film' the performance on their mobiles. The couple in front of us chatted to each other throughout the opera, adding their own commentary. This was highly annoying, especially as this area was the 'top price' seats, priced at €120 each.......

We have toured this theater and we knew we wanted to see a show here. Last night we saw the program Diamantes, with the Real Orchestra Sinfonica de Seville and the Spanish guitar player Jose Gallardo del Rey. The theater was great, intimate and with great acoustics, and the program was fantastic. It was the Concierto de Aranjuez. Fantastic!

We got relatively cheap tickets for a Sunday night performance of Rigoletto. One of the best productions I've seen/heard and to share it with a theaterful of obvious opera adficionadas made it all the more memorable.

Never been to a concert where the performers so obviously got as much joy from it as the audience did. Absolutely magnificent. Beats my cd of the same work into a cocked hat.

We happened to be in Seville for a performance of Donizetti's Don Pasquale. Very nice staging. Good voices. Excellent acoustics. Come as you are. Not very snobbish. After all, more operas have been written about Seville than any other city.

Very exciting to be inside and experience the fine performing arts from all over the nation and international guest companies!

とても大きな観客席から見るパフォーマンスは素晴らしいです。どこに座っても舞台が見やすい!
舞台の袖も広くてたくさんスペースがあったので良かったですが、広いため気温が低く衣装が薄い場合は体調管理に苦労しました。

Our Airbnb owner was a violin player and invited us to a concert in this theater.

This is a lovely theatre which we have visited many times over the years, mainly for flamenco shows. The acoustics are excellent and it would have rated five stars. However the use of mobile phones at all stages of the performances has now reached intolerable levels. Users show no respect for performers or other audience members.

Just a great concert with the conductor Hirokami stealing the show - what a wonderful evening. This theatre is large and very comfortable, We were on the front of the side wings which actually gave a great view of the pianist and the conductor. We booked before our visit but wouldnt have needed to for this performance as there were good seats still available. The website is not easy but you do get there in the end.

Our first visit to an Opera and very enjoyable it was too - we saw 'The elixir of love' and although there was an air of familiarity about it nevertheless we enjoyed it. The acoustics were excellent, the theatre itself was more than comfortable and our view was unobstructed.
