The Weimar Town Hall is one of the buildings located on the “Marked” place in the Old Town of. The three-storey building in neo-Gothic style with a balcony and bell tower is one of the landmarks of the city of Weimar. The first town hall on this site was already mentioned in the year 1396.

The Rathaus looks plain and a little run down from the outside. The architecture was rather simple and not outstanding. There is a clock face on the tower, which gives it character.
