A pleasant park, cost about €14 for one adult and three children, I think just over €20 for a family, cash only. It has a limited number of hammocks and recliners. There are foundations, a play area, some farm animals and a small pool. There...More

Easy to get to by tram, we were pleasantly surprised by the extent of this beautiful immaculate garden - unfortunately we did not get there until shortly before entrance gate closed at 6, although we could linger longer.

We stayed in downtown Erfurt so taking the number 2 tram is the best. We are in between blooming season so not all plants were in bloom. Our favorite was the butterfly hall. If you enjoy walking at a leisurely pace, looking at plants/flowers, this...More

Ega Park has beautiful fountains and gardens. While much of it is geared towards younger children (who love the swimming area, playground, climbing ropes, and zip lines) our teenagers enjoyed the butterfly house and gardens a great deal. Families can get a family pass for...More

We spent the morning meandering through these gardens, Quite extensive and varied gardens and greenhouses. The Japanese Garden was a favorite of the adults, and the children liked controlling the fountains. The hammocks were also a welcome touch

This place doesn't get much of a mention over other attractions in Erfurt but if you like gardens and gardening (as I do) this place will blow your mind. Even though it was only early May the site was brimming with showpiece gardens. Included in...More

Egapark in late October (1 Reply)
Greetings, Travelers! Is Egapark worth visiting in late October? From what I've read it is quite spectacular in the spring. What would we be able to see while we are in Erfurt on October 24/25? Thank you, TJ-3PO
