The most attractive building in town. Cant be missed with a central location as a gate to the old town. Best place for photos, selfies as well. Nice park too

It looks pretty cool and that is also pretty much everything you can say about it. Take a picture and move on.

Save your money and avid the throngs of tourists by just taking a photo of this picturesque old city gate and then going to the excellent Hanse Museum where you will get the same information, in a beautiful new museum, in English.

This was a sight to see, a building this old and located directly in the city as a lane divider was cool.

This place sums up Lubeck . Wonderful old gate constructed in 1460 as a defensive wall. There is a museum inside if it is rainy but we never got round to it. Great entrance to beautiful old town.

This old historic gate to the town is breathtaking. After a beautiful plaza, you get to the gate and enter the old city of Lubeck. Don't miss Lubeck if you're in northern Germany or take a day trip from Berlin.

The Holsten-Gate is the trademark of Lubeck and perhaps became symbol of the Hanze-trade-union itself. The building is impressive itself, inside there is a lot to see about history, adding up to what you can see in the Hanzemuseum 10 minutes walking to the North,
