Our visit became spectacular when the organist began to play one of the give organs in the church! It was a moving experience we will not likely forget.

The biggest and most ornate of the beautiful churches in Lübeck. Seeing the melted bells which fell from the tower during the bombing was particularly moving. Beautiful ceiling and vaulting.

Located about 15 minutes walk from the train station and literally next to the Rathaus in Lübeck city centre. It’s a must visit destination when in Lübeck.

St. Marien is a beautiful church with a rich history; it is definitely worthy of a visit. Take your time because there is so much to see.
