Even though this was very cheap to get in for admission price (3Euros), basically you go in take a small circle about 3min you can basically see everything. If you are super bored and have kid(s) with you, maybe worth visiting.

This is a very small but nice aquarium certainly worth visiting, considering the entrance fee is just 3 €. We also got lucky to be there during seals' feeding time (10 am) which was quite entertaining.

After a walk at the Promenade or spending a day downtown this museum offers an impressive look under the surface of the water, which is present everywhere. You will not spend hours and hours in there but you will have an overview on whats going on in the baltic sea. They do have a small but fine collection of fish... More

The aquarium is very small, with only one room where all the different Aquarius are placed. The ration price/time spent is not satisfactory. Any way, the aquarium have great diversity and is, in fact, a nice place to visit in Kiel.

A small aquarium, nothing special. Not many species of fishes in the aquarium. Admission ticket is reasonable.

If yopu think Ocean World or NorthSea Center in Hirtshals, Denmark, forget about this. It is wortth a visit anyway becaus they concentrate on the species living just outside. Entrance is cheap - 5 euro.

The man who gave the tour of the aquarium was very nice but the place is small. Enjoyed watching them feed the seals, it was cute and they did some tricks.

The aquarium itself was OK, not big, but very well maintained and with interesting species (if can get to Hamburg, there is a world class aquarium there). The highlight, however, is the feeding of seals. You can actually see the feeding from the street, no need to buy tickets to do so. The seals are very cute and must do... More

As other people have mentioned, the inside of the aquarium is very small . . . and probably not worth your time or money. But the seals outside (free) are definitely worth a look if you're walking along the water!
