This little oasis was a complete surprise, beautiful park with a lake and surrounded by wonderful weeping willows draping over the edge of the lake. So peaceful and beautiful it is hard to realise that you are in a bustling city. Definately a place to take a packed lunch and enjoy the peace and beauty of it all. Lots of benches, rose garden, waterfall area, benches everywhere, and although full of people, not in any way noisy or commercialised! I loved my Sunday morning walk there, and will definately go there again next time I am in Kiel.
