The museum offers a tour on how porcelain is manufactured with live demonstration in different languages. Then a large museum with impressive exponats from usable to purely decorative work. Especially have a look at the porcelain organ and try to join a demonstration if possible....More

This working factory offered tours which showed details how the porcelain is made and a retail gift factory. Also has free restrooms and a bakery.

Take the time to go on a tour. It is very interesting as you learn how a piece of porcellain is manufactured from start to finish.

This was an extremely enjoyable couple hours. This attraction offers three stores and a production tour on their first floor. One store is extremely high end porcelain items, one is their "outlet" store - items that are marked down somewhat, and one is a souvenir...More

I had heard many things about Meissen porcelain prior to my visit, and I am glad I was able to see these pieces of art for myself. It's important to go on a factory tour because this is the only way for you to see...More

Take a tour, see the museum, admire the items in the shop and then afterwards go to the cafe and drink and eat from Meissen porcelain. The food is delicious, more the batter from eating off Meissen

This place was somewhat boring and generic. You don’t get to see the the factory rather the tour is a series of rooms with artists on display. Instead you may want to consider doing the VW Gläserne Manufaktur tour in Dresden.

We had no idea of the huge number of different styles and colours of Meissen Porcelain! There are some exquisite designs! The guided tour takes small groups to see three different people working on three completely different aspects of the porcelain: figures, flowers and decorations...More
