So Belantis is the best amusement park!! My whole family made the water slide!! If you're on vacation, it's important to go to the park! And if you're afraid of some things, do them!! I made the high water slide, 4 times again! Everything is cool. And the people who work there, if you're afraid, they sometimes tell you things to motivate you! We were very lucky that there were not so many people, as the holidays in Saxony had just ended. It was hot but totally cool!! Bye 🫶🏻

We were in the park today with 2 children aged 10 and 16.
All the attractions were open, and due to the mixed weather there were very short waiting times. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a pizza for lunch. The price of €10.90 was absolutely fair and OK for an amusement park. The children enjoyed the pizza.
All in all a successful day.

The staff are very friendly, roller coasters are fun. The showmen put a lot of effort into the Halloween special. The only downside is the food. Fries and currywurst are terrible and really expensive. Great for small children, but it's best to bring your own food.

Just wow.
This is by far the most loveless, boring and neglected park I have ever visited.
Apart from the long queues, I feel unsafe on the attractions because the rusted roller coaster parts convey anything but safety.
Simple and poignantly terrible and an imposition.
That should be prohibited by law.

Went there with my class on a school trip and it was really lovely and the whole class had a lot of fun. The themed areas are really great and everything fits perfectly into a themed area. The staff were all very friendly too. Unfortunately the "Curse of the Pharos" water ride was broken that day. Still highly recommended.

We were at Belantis for our daughter's birthday with some of her friends. The park is a bit old, but still "ok". Can't be compared to Europa Park or Disneyland.
Where admission is still OK, drinks and food in the park are cheeky, so take something with you.
The minimum sizes for the rides we could not always understand, but trusted that someone had already thought of something.

This is a great park with a wide range of rides and attractions. Although you won’t find many massive rollercoasters, there are lots of fun flat rides to keep you busy and the queues were not too bad on a Saturday. Good theming throughout and reasonably priced food.

Bottom line: worth a visit, as long as your expectations are reasonable
We (couple, late 20s) almost cancelled our trip based off all the negative reviews here, but are glad that we went.
We arrived approximately 1045 on a midweek day at the end of August. We did not encounter any queues to enter, and the lady at the ticket desk did her best to find discounts for us (unfortunately we didn't get any).
Around the park there seemed to be plenty to do - we went on about 9 attractions and enjoyed them all. Many of the reviews mention rides out of order - in our case the swing boat and labyrinth were closed, but everything else was open so we weren't too disappointed.
Food wasn't as expensive as we expected based off other parks - a hot dog and 500ml drink cost €6. We were also pleasantly surprised that the souvenir photos weren't excessive at €5 each.
The park seemed well run, with competent and polite staff. We spent about 2.5 hours in the park (no kids, and we were on a deadline) but could have spent longer if we wanted. It's certainly not in the same league as the likes of Busch Gardens, but it does make for a nice day or half-day out.
A word of warning if you're taking public transport: it's very easy to get there using the S-Bahn and 105 bus (the 105 is designed to align with S5 schedule), but check the return times of the bus carefully - outside of the middle of summer the morning returns finish at 1133, and the next bus is 1533, so worth planning carefully.
Definitely glad that we went ahead despite the negative reviews, although we can see how queues would be an issue at busier times.

If you speak German and you have a child who is 10 or under, Belantis will be a fun afternoon out. If you don't speak German and/or your kids are used to North American amusement parks, I'd pass.
My 10-year-old thought it was great, but would probably be bored if we came back in a couple of years. Compared to North American amusement parks, the roller coasters and rides are quite small / short, though you can still get some thrills in. For example, I'd say the longest roller coaster ride you can get is 90 sec. There is a roller coaster where you will drop straight down, but it's a very short drop compared to what you'd expect in a North American park.
They also have a good number of rides and areas for younger children. Plus they have Nickelodeon characters like Spongebob and Paw Patrol who appear at stages in the park for the younger kids.
One plus is that on an early July weekday when many kids are still in school, it's not very crowded and so easy to get on the rides multiple times.
But you do need a healthy understanding of German to navigate the park. The rules / age restrictions for each ride are translated into English, but the staff spoke German exclusively with us, even though my daughter and I were interacting in English. Also at least one of the rides (Verlies des Grauens) involves quite a bit of German narration and the ride wouldn't make much sense otherwise. I didn't get the impression that they get many non-German visitors.
Bottom line: a fun morning or afternoon out for families with kids under 10 who know German.

Spent the day at the local amusement park that advertises itself as the biggest in the East. While that may be true, it's more due to the lack of competition. They do have 2 roller coasters and several large, high, rotating rides, but nothing that screams 'ride me'. For kids, there is a lot to offer, but many my daughter wanted to ride were for 7 and older and she was only 6. There is a LOT of room but almost nothing between the rides to see, just grass. I did enjoy the self-propelled ride section. I have never seen anything like it and it made me chuckle! Nothing like pulling my family UP the free fall tower before our ride down or pedaling a bike in order to turn the carousel! Avoid weekends if possible as the major rides have very long lines! All-in-all, it was OK but not a must-see!

Здравствуйте! Скажите, пожалуйста, как добраться до Belantis из Ляйпцига на общественном транспорте?
Written October 9, 2018
You take the urban train 5, 5X or 6 from Leipzig main station to S-Bahnhof Markkleeberg. From there you can hop on bus 105 straight to BELANTIS.

How to reach the park by public transportation
Written December 5, 2016
Hello,
BELANTIS is easy to reach by train and bus. From the Leipzig Mainstation (Leipzig Hauptbahnhof) you can use the train (S-Bahn) number 2, 3, 5 or 5X. Go by one of this trains to “S-Bahnhof Markkleeberg”. From there you can use the bus number 105. This is going directly to BELANTIS.
Enjoy your stay!

Hello Vali, I'm sorry, but he is too young. However, it can take advantage of other attractions such as the Huracanito. On our website you will find a tool with which you can look at what your child can drive.

Witam,
Pozdrawiam,
Natasza Korczak

Guten Tag Natasza Korczak,
