Bottom line: worth a visit, as long as your expectations are reasonable
We (couple, late 20s) almost cancelled our trip based off all the negative reviews here, but are glad that we went.
We arrived approximately 1045 on a midweek day at the end of August. We did not encounter any queues to enter, and the lady at the ticket desk did her best to find discounts for us (unfortunately we didn't get any).
Around the park there seemed to be plenty to do - we went on about 9 attractions and enjoyed them all. Many of the reviews mention rides out of order - in our case the swing boat and labyrinth were closed, but everything else was open so we weren't too disappointed.
Food wasn't as expensive as we expected based off other parks - a hot dog and 500ml drink cost €6. We were also pleasantly surprised that the souvenir photos weren't excessive at €5 each.
The park seemed well run, with competent and polite staff. We spent about 2.5 hours in the park (no kids, and we were on a deadline) but could have spent longer if we wanted. It's certainly not in the same league as the likes of Busch Gardens, but it does make for a nice day or half-day out.
A word of warning if you're taking public transport: it's very easy to get there using the S-Bahn and 105 bus (the 105 is designed to align with S5 schedule), but check the return times of the bus carefully - outside of the middle of summer the morning returns finish at 1133, and the next bus is 1533, so worth planning carefully.
Definitely glad that we went ahead despite the negative reviews, although we can see how queues would be an issue at busier times.

If you speak German and you have a child who is 10 or under, Belantis will be a fun afternoon out. If you don't speak German and/or your kids are used to North American amusement parks, I'd pass.
My 10-year-old thought it was great, but would probably be bored if we came back in a couple of years. Compared to North American amusement parks, the roller coasters and rides are quite small / short, though you can still get some thrills in. For example, I'd say the longest roller coaster ride you can get is 90 sec. There is a roller coaster where you will drop straight down, but it's a very short drop compared to what you'd expect in a North American park.
They also have a good number of rides and areas for younger children. Plus they have Nickelodeon characters like Spongebob and Paw Patrol who appear at stages in the park for the younger kids.
One plus is that on an early July weekday when many kids are still in school, it's not very crowded and so easy to get on the rides multiple times.
But you do need a healthy understanding of German to navigate the park. The rules / age restrictions for each ride are translated into English, but the staff spoke German exclusively with us, even though my daughter and I were interacting in English. Also at least one of the rides (Verlies des Grauens) involves quite a bit of German narration and the ride wouldn't make much sense otherwise. I didn't get the impression that they get many non-German visitors.
Bottom line: a fun morning or afternoon out for families with kids under 10 who know German.

We have visited Belantis over the Easter holiday. It was nice, a bit of adrenalin but also some relaxing zones (boats, tents etc...) The admission was reasonable as well as food prices. Not overcrowded.

Nice park for nice days. not suitable for rainy or very hot days. Many options for ages 9 & up. Clean, well taken care of park. Weve had a good time, full day activity untill clossing at 1800 which is early to my understanding. Was surpprised to find out that though you pay around 30 euro per person (no family ticket) you are allso asked to pay 5 extra for parking. pluse the web sight is only in German & Check. Would be nice to have an English option as well. All in all very nice daily activity

Our friends who had invited us to Leipzig have young children and invited us to join them for s day out to Balantis, the Adventure Kingdom, in Zwenkau. It would not have been our choice as a couple, but in fact, we enjoyed the day out.
It is a comparatively small amusement park but there are about 60 attractions, including the Pharoah's Valley and several roller coasters but we did not try those! The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
We felt the whole place needed a bit of a facelift and the main problem is the lack of shade in bright sunshine. Presumably this is a new site and the trees planted will grow.
Probably better to bring your own refreshments and have a picnic as the food and drinks are expensive and the queues long.
It is open from 10am until 5pm, April until October, and closed on Monday and Tuesdays.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your day at BELANTIS. As you already mentioned, we are a quite young amusement park and constantly working on our improvement. We are happy about your hints and hope you will visit us again one day! :-)

Rides for everyone, check height restrictions for kids though. Bought ticket online in advanced, saved vs. gate price! Went out of peak time so managed to get round the whole park in a day and saw everything. Great rides, good food, reasonably priced. Very, very good experience.

We decided to visit this park for my little daughters birthday as we were on our holiday near by. It was Monday, so not too busy as I can imagine maybe weekends get crowded.
We all have a nice time, not queuing for any of the attractions or any of the food and beverage, nice walking around the big lake, with some boats ride, lots of activities for little children. Please don't accept Disney, quite expensive entrance, however it is a nice place to spent there with your family and friends.

I was in this park with 2 kids - teens. After visiting another parks in Germany they found this one small. It is quite nice park I would recommend for families with kids up to 12 years old. I was surprised that just few people were in park and a lot of food and ice cream locations were closed.

We came after the school holidays had finished in Germany so there were no lines at any of the rides and we had a great day. Lots more to do with children but about 6 or 7 great big rides for thrill seeking adults. We spent about 3 hours at the park and had lunch and drinks in one of the themes food areas of the park. Lots of activities are offered and you can also spend all day the park.

Здравствуйте! Скажите, пожалуйста, как добраться до Belantis из Ляйпцига на общественном транспорте?
You take the urban train 5, 5X or 6 from Leipzig main station to S-Bahnhof Markkleeberg. From there you can hop on bus 105 straight to BELANTIS.

How to reach the park by public transportation
Hello,
BELANTIS is easy to reach by train and bus. From the Leipzig Mainstation (Leipzig Hauptbahnhof) you can use the train (S-Bahn) number 2, 3, 5 or 5X. Go by one of this trains to “S-Bahnhof Markkleeberg”. From there you can use the bus number 105. This is going directly to BELANTIS.
Enjoy your stay!

Hello Vali, I'm sorry, but he is too young. However, it can take advantage of other attractions such as the Huracanito. On our website you will find a tool with which you can look at what your child can drive.

Witam,
Pozdrawiam,
Natasza Korczak

Guten Tag Natasza Korczak,
