In the centre of the very nice city of Leipzig you find this alley full of bars and restaurants. Very nice atmosphere.

One of the cute streets of Leipzig downtown. It is very nice to walk in and take a beer; however, the restaurants are a little bit too much tourists oriented, which means too expensive.

One of the many small lanes and alleys in the centre of Leipzig. A pleasant place to sit and drink coffee, eat a little and watch the world go by.

Tried to eat at Bellini's which was supposed to serve asparagus, but had changed its menu to 'football food' during the Europ Cup. the street is packed with restaurants, tourists and waiters trying to get you in. I wouldn't eat here but just walk through the very narrow 'bare foot alley' quickly. Or avoid it altogether.

Narrow street in the city center of Leipzig. At the end of a long day in Leipzig, this is the place to have diner. Many small restaurants, with good food and (small) terasses. Prices avarage.

You are looking for a place for food and drinks? This is where you will find some for sure. An alley with numerous restaurants on both sides, cafes and bars - outside seating, underneath (heated) umbrellas. See and be seen :)

Everyone talks up this street but it is only a handful of eateries and only one nice building. It takes 30 seconds to walk down. Overrated

This is one of those places that doesn't try too hard. It is a "famous restaurant of Leipzig", so lots of tourists go there. Not too many locals. It is expensive and not especially good. The food is traditional, Saxon food. A better choice would be Appelsgarten, in my opinion, and really, not too far away.

2 Thank Peter C
