If you have any interest in visual art, media and the combination of these with music, this is somewhere you need to visit. It could be signposted a little better from the road as it just seemed that I was walking into an industrial area...More

We were here for the Renaissance show, it was absolutely superb. Also all the virtual reality art was just brilliant. If you like me Put de You, you'll love this (inside & on a smaller scale). Can't recommend enough

This is housed in a former factory that's been transformed into a space dedicated to art and design. It is definitely pushing modern cultural boundaries and a beautiful place for events. It challenges perception with digital landscapes and a geometric UV light grid. It was...More

After completing my visit through the primary exhibit, had a lot of fun exploring the building and premises. Interesting location, super raw and very...More

This building is an old power plant transformed into a cultural centre that promotes modern art. It isn't near the centre of Leipzig but it is easily reachable with the tram number 15. It offers peculiar exhibitions: : "Immersive art" and "Illusion" that I appreciated...More

Great ideas in the large presentations but the upstairs installations were a bit pretentious imho. Fun and enjoyable nevertheless. Combines easily with a trip to the Spinnerei

This museum offers interactive modern art but also musical events. At the time we were unfortunately not able to see all because there was a special musical event going on in one of the rooms. Therefore the collection was rather small. The museum is located...More

Nice use of an old plant. Two giant rooms on the first floor are used for "immersive art" - images are projected on 4 walls, floor and ceiling (one show runs every hour and another - every 20 minutes). There are also interesting illusions exibits...More

Modern art installations that everyone will enjoy, even if you don't necessarily like art. Also great for teenagers and pre-teens since they can interact with the environment. Definitely worth the short trip out of the city center if you are in Leipzig.
