cute and funky!

If you want to go away from the glitz and tourist come to this funky passage of shops and cafes. The whole area has an artsy feel to it!!!

Nice to walk through. Not the highlight of the day. Shops and cafés are open after 11-12 am. So don't visit too early. Shops are worth a visit. We walked through the alley in a small hour.

My hostel directed me to walk through here on my way into town and I loved it. There are 3 or 4 houses that are each uniquely decorated. Nice shops and restaurants nearby.

Kunsthofpassage are an island of beauty, peace and tranquility within Dresden. There is several themed courtyards, pretty little stores and places to eat and/or drink. I definitely recommend a trip to Kunsthofpassage if you should visit Dresden.

Kunsthofpassage itself was a little too artsy for us, but we enjoyed the funkiness of it. What we enjoyed most of all was the walk to and from starting in the city center. We crossed the Augustus bridge and walked through Neustadt, enjoying each change in scenery along the way. But the street that the destination is off of -... More

nice hipster place but the place is too small and nothing much to do. The nearby places seems not safe if coming at night so avoid coming at that time.

We heard that the Alaunstrabe area was a good area for street art and so it was! Lots of art dotted around with eagle eyes you can find a multitude of work on every street - the Kunsthofpassage was a nice addition to our walk - it hides a way a number of independent shops and the buildings are covered... That area is a hipster, young and art part of the city. You can find a lot of litte shops, stores, bars, restaurants and the architecture is amazing. For sunny days, but also for rainy days perfect (dont forget your umbrella :) ) Great pictrues guarante.

My 13 yr old wasn't keen to trek out and find this but it was worth it for the drainpipe exterior. It's something quirky with arty shops beneath.

Small passage connecting several inner court yards with nice and artistic facades. We enjoyed walking around them but did not try any of the food and drinks outlets. The area is nice and very different than the rest of Dresden. It's more alternative culture, artistic, street art, Imbiss, etc. Very nice area. I would take the tram to the passage... More
