“old town”(20 reviews)
Once the private garden of the Count of Bruehl, this large open plaza offers the city's best view of the River Elbe. Under the terrace are trenches, battlements and other remnants of the city's original fortifications.

This walk is best done at night as the city is aglow with lights and the sights reflect off the river. Either a long walk or a short troll will fill one with wonder over the intricate architecture along the terrace.

On the fringe of the old part of the city and overlooking the river. Very pleasant to walk in the evening and maybe stop at one of the bars.
