Worth seeing

Chemnitz has a interesting tradition of industry: Carmaking, Tool-production etc. Quite a good exhibition of these traditions in a beautiful old factory house.

This museum is one of the best that I've been to. Its very nicely presented and it extends beyond being only an industry museum. Its also feeling like a regional history museum. Its also fun with kids.

Great museum if you want to understand the industrial life of Chemnitz. Some parts were very interesting, but some in my opinion were kind of boring. But in the end everyone will find something that is going wake the interest of industry in Chemnitz. Great and interactive exhibition for all ages and genders.

I would like to recommend this museum to see for all people interested in machines and industry. Museum is specific - lot of machines are working so you can see them and feel. Very good for kids, I was alone but will come back in coming two months again with 9y son.

It tells you the history of the industrialization of Chemnitz in particular and Germany in general. The items are placed very creative and the description are nice written and easy to understand.
