We had some difficulties finding the entrance at first :). But in the end we made it inside. Beautiful church, but not very special. Although it is characteristic from the outside and influences the market square on a positive way.
St. Gangolf is a lot smaller than the Dom close by. You see the church tower when you are on the Hauptmarkt but you need to go inside a little court yard to get in. So no disturbing commercial activities right around the church.

The St. Gangolf church is an almost hidden gem just off the Hauptmarkt ... in fact its tower is part of the spectacular view that is the town square. Just look for the ornate gate and enter to find the church.
