We happened to go on a weekend where they were cleaning the ponds, but that meant not too many people there. Had a peaceful time in the city. Very nice and beautiful

We couldn't find the castle that we wanted to visit so we ended up at the Japanese garden. It was a short visit, because the garden is not very big, but it was very nice, a lot of water, beautiful fishes and different routes to take. I had read on tripadvisor that the entrance was €5,50 each, but I paid... More

We LOVE going here. First, the grounds are amazing. The flowers are so beautiful when in bloom and the grass is always lush and green. The play areas are well kept and there never trash just lying around. It can get packed, but there is plenty of space got everyone to play and relax. There are multiple kids play areas... More

The Japanese Garden is adjacent to my hotel (ALCATRAZ) so I figured I would check it out. I'm glad I did! I expected a tidy but tiny garden, like maybe the one at the end of Kill Bill, but this place was huge and absolutely beautiful. I was going to use the word "stunning", but it was so peaceful and... Enjoyed a lovely morning in this beautiful garden. Try to get there when the cherry trees are in bloom but even if not, it is still a beautiful garden. I was amazed how peaceful this place is in the middle of a noisy city. Not too expensive, easy parking across the street and a nice little cafe in the corner... More

This is a nice place to hang out and walk through or just stop by to get a coffee or beer, very interesting looking at the size of the goldfish that are about a foot long.

Relaxing to stroll through the gardens. Very beautiful flowers and greenery! Excellent for an afternoon and free if you happen to have a season pass for the Gartenschau.

Visited here on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Just gorgeous and peaceful. From the garden you can hardly tell you are in the middle of Kaiserslautern! Didn't try the tea ceremony but am sure that would be a cool experience. A visit here is highly recommended.

This is a nice peacefull garden. You can get some food and drinks at the end of the park. Very nice trees and flowers and very well taken care off. There is also a pond with koyfish if you like to see those. Entrance is € 5,50 and some food for the koyfish is € 2,-
