Nice mixture of mature grand European trees with more recent Japanese style plantings.

I love this place. The garden is neat and clean and it is awesome to spend a day just to relax and stare at their beautiful kois.

I was there this past May to take prom photos of my son and his date. The scenery is beautiful and the pictures turned out great.

Decided to spend the day in Kaiserslautern. After lunch we were walking around and wanted to find a park or somewhere to walk/sit to enjoy the beautiful day. We saw signs for the Japanese garden and headed over. The garden was beautiful-Like an oasis in the city. The landscape is well kept. The water falls and walkways were very nice.... More

The overall effect is a little tired and there didn't seem to be an underlying idea: somehow the planting and ornamentation seemed to lack a unifying conception.

We happened to go on a weekend where they were cleaning the ponds, but that meant not too many people there. Had a peaceful time in the city. Very nice and beautiful

We couldn't find the castle that we wanted to visit so we ended up at the Japanese garden. It was a short visit, because the garden is not very big, but it was very nice, a lot of water, beautiful fishes and different routes to take. I had read on tripadvisor that the entrance was €5,50 each, but I paid... More

We LOVE going here. First, the grounds are amazing. The flowers are so beautiful when in bloom and the grass is always lush and green. The play areas are well kept and there never trash just lying around. It can get packed, but there is plenty of space got everyone to play and relax. There are multiple kids play areas... More

The Japanese Garden is adjacent to my hotel (ALCATRAZ) so I figured I would check it out. I'm glad I did! I expected a tidy but tiny garden, like maybe the one at the end of Kill Bill, but this place was huge and absolutely beautiful. I was going to use the word "stunning", but it was so peaceful and... Enjoyed a lovely morning in this beautiful garden. Try to get there when the cherry trees are in bloom but even if not, it is still a beautiful garden. I was amazed how peaceful this place is in the middle of a noisy city. Not too expensive, easy parking across the street and a nice little cafe in the corner... More
