Nice little botanical garden. Well worth seeing, particularly if you're near the Schloss. You can stroll in the gardens and see exotic plants (some animals, too) in the green houses.

The Botanical Garden in Münster is the best Botanical Garden I have visited. Spacious, tended with loving care and with many special hothouses I spent hours here some years ago in the summer. Being in Münster this January I could not resist visiting the garden. Although the garden was of course in a less spectacular winter shape, the hot houses with the sub tropical and tropical plants were all there and we had the garden almost for our own. The staff, tending to the garden, outnumbered the visitors easily. The Botanical Garden of Münster is a must visit, even in January. It is located behind the historical university building. Plenty of parking space in front of the university, for a fee.

It was very cold so not the best time of the year. However, it was still nice to see and walk around.

What a lovely place to visit on an autumn day. A huge diversity of plants makes this garden a unique place to spend a few hours... and then return whenever possible.

No special Tips,Münster Itself complete within and its Surrounds, theres simply so much of Interest to see/Visit.and you need at least a good relaxing Week to see all,a wonderfull Colorfull City+very Historic and very Plesant People.--- but very sad for a car driver, its ok giving all the blame for accidents to the car+truck+Van Driversm .. but the goverment/Police should pass a Law to stop Students+Others being allowed to use their Mobiles, and have Headphones with music on while Cycling, how can they see+Concentrate on the traffic around them.also the bike riders are very Ignorant, and definatly cant see, what their doing.-- the bike riders seem to have been allowed a free pass,to break all traffic+Road Laws. --- and only large vehicle drivers are the Bad. in this subject the german Laws EYES ARE CLOSED.and bycycle riders are suddenly handled like gods.theit minds are only on their conversation or music Blasting in their ears.
