El Cuyo is such a cool and chill town with a long beach. If you like kitesurfing you should definitely have a look and try ! The people are also really friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for a true authentic Mexican experience El Cuyo is the place. Other than the weekends (approx. 40 locals) you have the 2 mile sandy beach to yourself and a handful of tourists and kite boarders. Good to have a little knowledge...More

We just got back from 31 days in El Cuyo. We absolutely loved this little fishing village. With a pristine beach for as far as you can see that we were most mornings only sharing it with one or two people and some pelicans and...More

El Cuyo is one of these places when you drive through you think you are in a dream as you thought these places have disapeared. Empty sandy beaches, sandy roads, no traffic, almost no people, a active fishery harbour and a big sky. There a...More

We stayed here for 3 weeks and enjoyed everyday at the beach. The beach is one of the cleanest I ever visited. Of course you'll find algae at the sand but hey that is a virgin beach! The shallow water goes at least hundred meters...More

This is the place to go for a quiet getaway. Welcoming locals and a long stretch of uninterrupted white sand beach. The waters are calm, the sunsets are amazing, the tourists are few and far between.

Looking to get out of the concrete jungle of Cancun? 2 and a half hours away is el Cuyo - a sleepy little fishing village with a beautiful beach that stretches for miles! La Conchita's and Hotel Miramar provide excellent food. Check out the hotel...More

El Cuyo's beaches are really pretty. They have white sand and this water that is a really unique green color I haven't seen anywhere else. You get little schools of fish swimming by you periodically. And, best of all, the beach is not crowded at...More

Stayed at a beach front flat the beach was white sand and went in forever. The town of El Cuyo is friendly and there's a few shops to buy groceries and fresh fish at the harbour. The sea is clean and very little litter for...More

There are no docked boats here, and mostly the beach is clear and non muddy - however, at certain times of year (unpredictable) there can be a lot of seaweed washed up.
