If you are looking for quaint German town, with a ruined castle, great historic architecture, and nice places to sit and people watch with a drink, this will suit you. On the banks of the mighty Rhine it's a nice place to visit

The Ruin of the castle Barbarossa is still looking over the river Rhine. Great walk for all seasons. All kind of cosy restaurants around. The top event of all is : using the car ferry from Kaiserswerth trough the river Rhine to Buederich and Moenchenwerth...More

If nothing else to do and you like going back in time you can visit Kaiserswerth. Major part of Duesseldorf's history started from here.

Had the opportunity to visit this very representative little town of the past, constructions more than 500 years. Accompanied by side location to Rhine river. Well preserved constructions and typical architecture. Also fine restaurant and stores.

Kaiserswerth is a lovely little historical old town and very picturesque. You can walk around, there are nice cafes and restaurants , or go for a walk along river Rhine. There is parking at the entrance of the village.
