The City of Dusseldorf in Germany.

Dusseldorf seems to be a city inhabited by very intellegent people, who only like museums, libraries and are very clever and polite. The city is very clean. There are many very interesting places to visit in Dusseldorf.
The city also held many events every year. For example, The Japane Day, on which many streets are overcrowded and you can see people dressed up as characters of Japanese Anime, Comics, etc.
Only here you can buy Killepitsch, a herb liqueur, which is produced only here.
There are many bars in Altstadt.
It's a pleasure to walk along Rheinuferpromenade that is a beautiful embankment built along The Rhine River.
There is an interesting fact. I remember a car showroom of Mercedec Company which is situated on Mercedesstrasse.

Neuer Zollhof buildings are very interesting.

By the way, not far from The Rhine Tower, there is a cafe in which they serve sausages with gold. The weight of pieces of gold is not big but visitors can feel the metal is real.

Visit this wonderful city one day !

Neuer Zollhof Buildings is a beautiful !

Last saturday with a little power in my legs I walked the kilometer to this area because I want to see the builings with my own eyes.

I liked them its not anything I see in normal days.

It was the start for me on promenade so happy I walked over here.

Restaurant around if that should be interesting

Looing on boats on Rhinen.

Architect behind the builing is the american/canadian man Frank O Gehry.

The tallest building is 14 stories high and just under 50 m tall. Each building has a different facade cladding - the outer two in white plaster and red brick respectively; the central building's stainless steel facade reflects material and shapes of its two neighbour buildings.

Ride the elevator for a smooth and quick trip to viewing tower. There is food and alchohol avaialble with tables overlooking the windows for the best of the city.

Go first to Rheinturm, so you can view these buildings from above. Completed in 1998 the architect Frank O. Gehry really created something unique. Optical illusion makes the towers to look like that they leaning somehow. I guess Frank had visited Pisa just before drawing these. He drew three buildings, one with plastic white outer, one brick and one in the middle stainless steel that reflects its surroundings. Highest building is 14 storey and ca 50 m tall.

Anyone who has interest in architecture will find Neuer Zollhof a rewarding site to visit. My favorite element was the stainless steel facade and with its reflective surface. There are three buildings Frank O. Gehry and they are all worth a visit.

I loved how the buildings curved and leaned and the stainless steel facade looked magnificent in the sun.

When you see for first time these apartment buildings, you think that you drank too much. After the first impression, you'll appreciate the subtle beautiful of these buildings.
It's about a strange modern shape, maybe you'll see ever.
You can judge yourself, when you'll look the photos.

As a Canadian, visiting the 3 Gehry buildings in Dusseldorf was a must. If you have time there are a number of eateries across the street that offer an opportunity to take it all in.

The Neuer Zollhof is designed by American architect Frank Gehry, a well known architect in the world. I'm not big fan of architecture, but it is enjoyable to check out and appreciate this piece of work.

The three buildings are next to each other. All of them have random curves that make them "flow" together. Good view at night but better view during day time.

There are a few good restaurants around but all tend to be on the pricier end. If one is not in a hurry to eat, walk about 10-15 minutes and take the 707 bus back to central station area, where food is more available.
