Loved the light-based artistic forms and elements exhibited by logic during Christmas period and by logic in Protestant Church. Apart from philosophical connotations that light is a reason and the capacity of us, humans, to develop on the rational level, the visual lightening in church strengthen that reason of existence.

Very large & prominent building right in the City Centre. Impressive exterior, but disappointing inside. Modern & minimalist, almost Spartan. There was a busy cafe that you entered through.

We attended a free organ recital which was excellent. These are on Wednesdays at 12:30. Not sure if this is year-round. The church interior is nothing very special, but it does have a reasonably priced cafe in the foyer,

We just sort of wandered into this church, not having planned on a visit, and we are used to visiting mostly Roman Catholic churches where we attend mass many times. So this is a Protestant church, again which we were curious about. Inside was rather simple from what we usually see. But what made this visit special for us was that we met while there, some members of that church and a really nice chat about the church, etc. made the visit memorable. As a traveler, those kinds of experiences are the ones that make our travels so worthwhile. Hey, anytime a Catholic and a Protestant can have a pleasant chat is always welcome! Just a little more food for thought on the Protestant church. I wrote this in my travel journal notes from the Johannes Church visit: ""Brought forth by the resonance of a dissonance"

The red brick with stone begged to be photographed and we certainly obliged, but the interior was simple and dull. Interesting when one exits to see the magnificent sculpture across the street beautifully framed by the church door.

This church is vast from the outside and is built in terracotta brick with huge windows, domes and a clock tower. It is set in a busy large square where traffic encircles it. Inside it is very contemporary and looks more like a concert venue than a church with it's viewing terrace above. It has a very basic altar with three stained glass windows.

The church is of a beautiful design and it is possible to stand well back in the square to get a good look at it. I am a bit concerned with all the militaristic statues facing it from the Ministry of Justice.

We were there just before a wedding later that day. The organ was playing and that was nice. The church itself was a little sterile to me.
