To get here we took the U74 from Düsseldorf main station. It was 5 short stops then a straight 10 minute walk. Free to get in, a nice looking restaurant there that we didn’t try. Lots of classics there, but sadly no old Ford Capris...More

You can see very closely in this garage a lot of old and more modern legendary cars. It is not a museum, but rather a kind of auction, because most of the car are for sale. Really worth it for car's lovers, moreover the entrance...More

Although I am not a car buff and did not expect much from this visit - it was quite enjoyable. The glass topped roof bringing in much natural light probably made this viewing more comfortable. They had so many classic cars on display and unfortunately...More

The easiest way would be taking underground line U9 from Kurfuerstendamm station in front of the hotel to Turmstrasse station. The train is bound for Osloer Strasse. At Turmstrasse change for bus M27 (direction S+U Jungfernheide). It's 3 stops to Wiebestr./ Huttenstrasse from there. Walk into the direction the bus is departing and turn right into Wiebestrasse. It's about 200 meters to walk from there on the opposite side of the street.

Intercon or Holiday inn for Xmas markets (1 Replies)
Hi all, My bf and I will be visiting for one day in late November. We are actually vacationing in Amsterdam, but i want to check out the Xmas markets in Dusseldorf. We arie aiming to take the train in in the afternoon, and we have an option to stay either at the Holiday Inn, or at the Intercontinental for a little more in price. My main concern is which location is more convenient to the markets (walking or public transit, or even uber), as well as the train station and the Classic Remise...More

Depending which HI you mean (the one close to the Königsallee is now a Leonardo) - the other one's are not so close to the christmas markets. Anyway, I love the IC - you will have a great stay there. And it's 5-10 mins walk to the christmas market.
