This is a bit outside of Dusseldorf but we were able to take some trains to get there. Once there we had about a 20 minute walk to get to the park, but it was on this nice tree lined path that was very scenic. Once there we walked around the park and saw the animals that were fenced in... More

We hired bikes and set off from Dusseldorf. It took us about 45 mins to find the park. Not too many animals were on view, and some advertised were actually stuffed. This is a great place for children to interact with the deer. Take some shredded apple or carrot with you. We could not find anywhere selling refreshments, and no... More

Only went there to see goats and wildcats, but it was cut off because they were cutting the grass. Very disappointing and hard to get too.

Amazing for kids, they are so happy to be able to touch and feed the reindeers. Only apples are allowed to be fed, so don´t take carrots, bread, or cereals. Of course, there are people doing that, but respecting the animals and the ones caring for them, was a starting point of this attraction. A good half of day is... More

This park is very peaceful and the right place to relax. Since it is a park, it is only good to visit when it is not raining.

Exceptional and vast park. Beautiful landscapes, valleys and vegetation. Great variety and numbers of wild animals such as several kinds of deer and wild boars. Also birds, wild cats, raccoons, ferrets, rams and other.. A very good move on behalf of the management was the free supply of acorns and Browns for the feeding of the deer and wild boars... More

We love this place, clean and well organised it is so nice to see the deer roaming in the huge enclosures. The wild boar are a must-see too. The forest around is lovely to walk in, too. There is a toilet block in the deer park but we haven't found anywhere to buy food so take a picnic!
