We went there to admire the three buildings by architect Frank Gehry. We admired them from the park on the Rhine site. You should also take a peek at the other architecture.

This is world class. Hugging the Port of Dusseldorf on the Rhein River, this provides an incredible promenade. For anyone with an interest in architect this is a must see as it is an example of architect in the absurd. The apartment buildings here were built from models made of Pla-doh. Their finishes add to their interest, some looking like... More

Visited as part of walking tour. Der Neuer Zollhof (Frank O Gehrey) is just part of the interesting view to be had. The Innside by Melia Aparthotel is also quite (colourful) good. Other architects involved in the area are David Chipperfield, Joe Coenen, Steven Holl & Claude Vasconi... Recommend if interested in un-boring building designs...

Very modern buildings, with excentric designs. An -absolute- must-see !! This part of Düsseldorf has also extremely good restaurants, and bars, to make you have a stay in front of this architectural curiosity.

The Medienhafen is a great place to be. The buildings there are amazing and I have never seen such 'weird' architectural buildings like these. Bit to be really honest it is just a port like any other.

These buildings made my day. The modern arquitechture combined with the old one is nice and they have different shapes and colours
