Amazing Architecture

Visit this place if you are a fan of human creations :) Witness all the building and try to imagine the amount of imagination it would have taken for the architectures

It seems like all the buildings here are so artfully designed. They're in unusual shapes and striking colors - my favorite would be the Gehry buildings (Neuer Zollhof). I went to this part of the city just for those three buildings actually but I saw so many more quirky/eccentric places! I went here in the morning, but I feel that... More

My husband and little baby boy visited Düsseldorf in December and we stayed in a hotel in the MedienHafen - quite a stunning part of the city in terms of architecture and not far from the Altstadt. It's a must see for anyone who likes architecture and the walk down the river to get to it is easy with a... More

I find the buildings interesting but not impressive. Yet its nice to see them but definitely not a must see while you are in Dusseldorf.

The Media Harbour is an easy walk from Dusseldorf Altstadt, and is in my opinion a must see. There is a fantastic walkway going all the way around this modern architectural wonder by way of bridges and elevated sections. A fairly recent renovation to the old harbourside has turned this area into the equivalent of London's Docklands, with ambitiously modernistic... More

We saw this area from a bridge as we didn't have much time to go right into it, but there is some interesting architecture which would be worth exploring in more detail including the Frank Gehry building and one building with coloured human cut outs climbing up the outside.

A very nice place in Dusseldorf and simply you can't miss it, I walked by it every day since I was staying in Courtyard by Marriot. A very interesting buildings from different architectural engineers from around the world.

We went there to admire the three buildings by architect Frank Gehry. We admired them from the park on the Rhine site. You should also take a peek at the other architecture.

This is world class. Hugging the Port of Dusseldorf on the Rhein River, this provides an incredible promenade. For anyone with an interest in architect this is a must see as it is an example of architect in the absurd. The apartment buildings here were built from models made of Pla-doh. Their finishes add to their interest, some looking like... More
