It rained for the whole week in June, everyday, several times a day. The temp around 12-16°C did not stop me from walking from Spichernplatz across the bridge to Oberkassel. The main road Brusseler was uninteresting. The church corner of Brusseler and Shorlemerstrasse where a beautiful wedding was celebrated that saturday: huge fanfare, traditional beer truck, costume, feather et al.... More

if you are in Dusseldorf this is a must place to visit in when sun sets down. Lots of nice restaurants in the river bank where you can enjoy the view.

Every and each house has something interesting about itself, they are a lovely view on a... More

Crossed the bridge on the City tour bus, was told that due to the river being too narrow where it was originally built, they actually moved the bridge sideways to its current location. A real feat of ingenuity and invention.

The true European walk way by the riverside. Amazing setting, sumptuous offerings from the numerous restaurants b the river. Not to be missed for sure in Dusseldorf.

Walking across this bridge gives you some amazing views of the Rhein and the city. You can even drive, cycle or take the metro across!
